this is fake, no doubt, im wondering if electron microscopes can see down to the atomic level, should somebody not have a picture of dna, as it is clearly at the MOLECULAR level being comprised of protein molecules?
@katmichellelove Uhm, no it's not. DNA stands for deoxiribose nucleic acid. Essetially it's made up from sugar, phosphate and a base (either a pyromidine or a pyrine), that is attached to each other in a long polymer. Two of these toghether form an anti parralelle helix.
There is no such thing nor was there ever a hand cranked electron microscope. Perhaps you were cranking something else with your hand when you came up with this BS!
Go to Google Images and paste the following phrase in the search box: DNA scanning tunneling microscope. The third and fifth results will be actual images of the DNA molecule. What's most striking about them is how closely they resemble the computer-generated models.
lolololol omg scanning electron require a minimum of 50000 volts to produce one atomic image. and the hand cranked microscope just made me lose it lololol
The very first SEMs required the voltage produced at the height of thunderstorms to produce clear ( albeit brief ) images of the building blocks of life, animations took years to assemble. This is clearly an old film but shows remarkable detail.
As he found to his cost you should NEVER look directly into an SEM, always use the projection method.
hahahhaha!! DNA doesnt look like that in real life!!! thats a model. Thats what u have hanging in biology classes in high school. truth is, you need someone more power than SEM to see single atoms like that. especially that clearly.

i disliked it for being misleading,
DNA doesn't look any particular way. Light does not "see" that small
and electron microscopes have limitations also, they stop at much much larger than atoms.
i should like it for showing what DNA would look like if we could see it,
and i'd like it more if it were in color showing the different atoms

This is BS. A fabrication. DNA does not look like that.

Nope. We didn't even know the DNA molecule was a double helix until the 1950s. FAIL.
