That's Is terrible. Where was the Tag and release you morons. The shark probably died from exhaustion cause you guys were too slow to get it in and release it. To be able to pick a shark up by its tale means its way too tired. That is cruel. After a 1 hour fight with someone dragging you around would you like to be picked up by the ankle and lifted into the air. You guys should be banned from you tube and fishing and put in jail for cruelty.

Been there, done that. This was only one of 15 sharks we landed this day. THis was the smallest but the only one we documented on video. We had a 11' Hammerhead the same day. I'd call that Freakin awsome...mate!

i was fishing with my grandfather in a dingy one day, and i hooked a MASSIVE 12 foot bronze whaler, when, all of a sudden, he took a dive and when i pulled, it was really light. so i pulled it in.

the shark's entire body(up to the 1st gill slit) had been bitten off !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i still go shark fishing, though.

I can understand your feelings. I once caught a record Snook that I wish I would have released but kept it for the meat. I wish now that I would have released this large fish and kept some of the smaller ones. This is why we kept this shark, it was perfect size for eating. In this way I dont feel bad at all.

I would agree with the 15 LB poles would be fairly extreme, but then again the video only shows 8 minutes of a 2 hour long fight so much had to be edited out to get it in a easily uploaded / downloaded version. I was thinking about posting more videos if people like you would find them useful. Ramone

Actually we only keep what were going to eat. This particular shark was perfect size and kept us in Black Tip for several months. Again most fish are caught and released. But you need to be a fisherman to understand this so I dont take your comment to seriously. Thanks for the feedback!

Cute fish, dont know how extreme it is considering the gear you were using for such a small fish maybe xtreme if you were using 15lb snapper poles
