  • Dumbest desgin i have every seen

  • What happens if you accidentally push the double lock button when struggling with the person?? You need the key to open before you can put them on! Not a good design at all.

  • Who cares about a suspects wrist?

  • the location of handcuffs dialed the police to open handcuffs prisoners when hand is easy to cut

  • Looks sophisticated, but most likely effective.

Can someone make a cuff to cuff review of this one with the standard double lock like this? - youtubedotcom/watch?v=QixzudwPxxE&feature=channel_video_title

I guess it would be much easier to understand the concepts

  • Soon they will b all electric. The ring wearer will b able to open the cuffs

  • I get why they do it but they would have to get the criminals wrists to be parallel to cuff them cause without the chain they can't move each cuff separately.

  • This is little more than a marketing pitch for the 'latest and greatest' blah...blah...

A few mm (at most) of rubber will not protect against crush injuries, the sort likely to cause nerve trauma and potentially permanent damage.

  • @geonerd Good thing that's not what they need to protect against - It's to make the suspect more comfortable. Have you ever been cuffed with old-style handcuffs? Bare metal + skin in a position where they will often rub is not comfortable. The only way the injury you're talking about could happen: The officer does it on purpose. I don't think that they would do something like that on purpose.

  • And why the hell has society became such that we care about the comfort of a criminal's hands in cuffs?..I say we go back to the days of the Comealong chains and keep the standard cuffs but with this new lock style.

  • @PolizeiPaul

because we're not animals, and because most people who get handcuffed haven't done anything wrong!

  • @ccdanro You must have shit between your ears.

  • what the hell am i watching?

  • i am very eager to know who and when has patented this kind of handcuffs...i am also very interested in style of key which is using for unlocking...i would like to make contact with that person

  • That CNC is nice...

  • it's great but who is really going to arrest top criminal guys in Big corporations & Govs? I'm not a tiny penis owner so, i'll rather go to big ones but most of tiny penis brits never bothers to go for big guys...LOL

  • looks nice but i like a chain linked model

  • I like the TKS patrol cuff. Light, un-shimmable and a non-universal key.

  • lol this is odd either most comments on here are by police officers or some very kinky people.

  • I have a pair of Speed cuffs work great. used them dozens of time.

  • Personally i Use asp tactical handcuffs i havent had any problems with them yet and they have been involved in more than a 1000 arrests

  • I think the heavy brass KUB Irish 8's are the ideal rigid cuffs, especially for women who can slip chain cuffs down behind their knees. Of course, a waist chain would prevent this with any rear cuffs.

  • I want a pair... if it has a good old safety release feature lol

  • Nice video! But I will stick to Schutzmarke Deutsche Polizei/ Lips handcuffs for the time being :-)

  • Smith and Wesson cuffs for me.

  • Once again your videos entertain me :) 5/5

  • Hiatts? You're right. Handcuffs aren't for punishment. Thats what the Taser is for. At least here in Indianapolis

  • new cuffs are ugly

  • its clearly not a fashion show...

  • That's clearly brilliant :P

  • if you ask me... they shouldent make the cuffs comfier on the wrists as that shows alot of things about them... first it shows the police are push overs even if they arnet and it takes more time and money to make them comfier therefore wasting time and money on the people that make everywere unsafe. they should wear tight hurtful cuffs and that time they will think "those really hurt last time i had them on" might make them think twice before doing the crime again.

  • Uhm, a good number of people the police cuff really haven't done anything all that wrong.

  • You clearly aren't in law enforcement.

The role of most, if not all, police agencies is to prevent crime and retain persons and evidence in the relation to crimes committed.

Police, in modern society, are not responsible or charged with the role of punishing criminals. That's where the Judge and Penal system come into the picture.

I know where you're coming from - chances are if you're being arrested by a Peace Officer you have done something wrong. A suspect has rights too.

  • @ALAPINO Police have no obligation to protect anyone. They just show up after the crime and clean up. They do punish criminals even thought they aren't supposed to (taser comes to mind).

  • @pete5668 You ever see a squad car that says, "To protect and serve"? The police are supposed to and do protect the public. And don't tell me that police do more harm than good.

  • @wafflecushioned that line is inaccurate. It should read, "To arrest and convict, and clean up the mess."

  • Forgot one point -

Handcuffs are not a device for punishment. Their purpose is restraint for the safety of the Peace Officer, Public and Suspect.
