It isnt that good of game. I took it back to the store the same day I bought it. Barly any braking in the rally corners and there was just somthing about it that I didnt like. Anybody know what that was because I hated the game.

Comparison? You can't compare them. Gran Turismo is a driving simulator, Dirt is an arcade racer. If you genuinely prefer Gran Turismo, thats fine. I personally found Gran Turismo 5 rather boring, as it was far too slow paced for me. Plus, there are nowhere near enough events to complete. This is coming from someone who played Gran Turismo 4 almost to death on the PS2, btw.

However, I enjoyed Dirt 2 immensly, and i'll be getting this too.

@hvglaser Well, headlight texture is placed from above, it's the easiest way of creating such effect. Game developers must consider limit which our pcs, consoles can handle. They can go all the way, and make "The perfect, best looking game", but, i really don't think that there is such machine which will be able to handle that application in real time, or maybe there is, i don't know, but only few could afford it. Just relax and enjoy the game!

I bought this game and it didn't dissapoint people gotta stop shitting on a game without trying it and seeing if its good or not. this game has a lot of different tracks and modes. Snow, Rain, Dirt, Tarmac, Gravel its all in there. It even has dune buggie/truck races. The Gymkhana mode is fucking sick as well.
