Is there any remix / remake / cover of this song with lyrics by a most likely black singer judging by the tone of his voice ? I heard such song somewhen around 2005 in a club and all I remember are fragments of the lyrics that include "freak" as in something like "i wanna get my freak on..." and "talking to my baby" shortly afterwards. I've been eager to find this song ever since I've heard it for that one time. Does my description ring a bell to anyone ? Maybe it's not a Jaydee song afterall...

In the early 90's, when we were in the underground clubs in L.A. and the DJ would play this record, we would literally lose our minds. Although back then, the DJ's usually spun this track a little slower than this. Old school house (80's/90's) was always a bit slower ... and better. More soul, more funk, less techno-y. Cheers! :)

In 20 jr is de techniek zo vooruit gegaan, desalniettemin heeft die vooruitgang geen creatieve toegevoegde waarde. GeneratieX blijft ten alle tijden een onbekende factor! Het is werkelijk jammer, dat de creatieve vaders van het concept, de Waakzaamheid er mee gestopt zijn. Ooit komt alles tot een eind, maar na 20 jr word het eens weer tijd, voor nieuw begin!

@nlRobertnl Broeder ik ben in de 60ties geboren en ik heb de 70, 80 en 90ties bewust mee gemaakt. Toen de house eind 80ties zijn intrede deed tot aan begin 90ties, kon je over een house periode praten. Daarna kwamen de amateurs en die hebben het alleen maar uitgemolken! Ik genoot daarna echt wel van de house omdat house gewoon mijn ding is! Het gaat je broeder en misschien kunnen wij het goede voorbeeld geven.

@brightingsky2009 Commerciele House van tegenwoordig heb ik niks mee ben dan ook meer een early hardcore feestganger ofwel een gabberhouse feestganger die tijd had ik dan ook graag willen meemaken.

De amateurs zijn zeker degene die het meer commerciel gemaakt hebben waardoor er niet veel moeite meer werd gedaan en uiteindelijk de goeie stijlen langzaam minder breed volk kreeg helaas maar waar.

Er komt wel weer een tijd dat dit soort stijlen meer geproduceerd worden!
