If I were a police officer and you started ranting illogically and projecting racism on me that's reverse racism, just like if it was a white guy being directly racist to a black officer. Hell NO!!!, The cop was not ridiculous in the least bit. The cop was 100% in the right. Once Gates came out into the open and kept yelling, the cop was totally right in arresting him. And it has nothing to do with Gates being on his own property.

And again, were you there? Seems like the cop did try to diffuse the situation once he had his ID, but Gate followed him outside yelling racial comments. Oh, you forgot to mention all the eyewitnesses that saw Gates yelling.

Duh, the police report was written later on in the day. By that time the cops knew it was his house. Do you think a police report is written in REAL TIME during the action?

The black cop said he heard Gates saying *you are arresting a man in his home*, that's no proof it was his house. And there is absolutely no mention of a "Harvard ID" in that whole clip.

This description & title is misleading.

Sgt. James Crowley didn't even give his side of the story in this clip; all he pretty much said is that he won't apologize, and that he was disappointed by the President's comments.
