  • @ringosan8035

hah, well I figured as much. It's Shelby. If you recognize the band pictured on the video then you prob know me.

  • @zavakuria what's your name?

  • @ringosan8035

ummm... why do you want to know? :\

  • is there a lot of clarinet parts in these pieces ?

  • @skateshelbyy

Yes there is. It's kinda hard to hear them at times. they are usually playing with the flutes I believe....

  • ohmygod we're doing this in band. the pit parts in the beginning. easy to learn, but hard to play perfect at that tempo ._.

  • 2:37 sounds like a spyro game the very first one that ever came ut in magiccrafters thumbs up if you agree tho

  • My marching band is playing this right now and it's an absolutley amazing!!!

  • i love this song especially having the trumpet part its a fun peice

  • try marching this on the field...what year that was in band.....

  • so many great band memories with this song :) !!! i will never forget

  • Yeah, playing this piece as a trombone in my school's marching band. Those half note triplets at 0:48 are killing me haha.

  • @mooosh1001

haha yeah we had trouble with those at first too. But once you get them they sound awesome. how are the notes at 2:00 going?

  • @zavakuria Well, I've memorized the whole first movement so far. I can play them slowly without any issues, but they sound kind of clipped when I play them at the normal speed. I just need to practice more, I guess.

  • freshman year... damn I wish I could go back. :(

  • Ahh, I bet this was fun to play! I know I would have enjoyed watching this, but thankfully it's here on YouTube! XD Awesome job, I love it!

  • is this conducted in 3/4 or 4/4?

  • @somerussiankid

Haha! excuse my laugh but it just beings back memories. It has many time signatures including a section of:

4/4, 2/4, 3/4, and 7/4. there are parts that are conducted in 1 as well. there are some double times in there and many many many key signature changes along with time changes in the oddest places. :))

  • @zavakuria oh alright, thank you... looks like i wont be doing this for my drum major audition then... hahahah

  • @zavakuria okay, wow. well very cool!

  • @somerussiankid both i think

  • Hi, My band is seriously contemplating playing this. If you would be so kind as to tell me the key signatures, that would be super helpful. I figured out the other pieces but the First piece is giving me a lot of trouble. Please/ Thank-You

  • Is this the actual recording the band did, or is this computer file? It's so amazing! I would have driven out to see y'all perform this.... Where ever it is lol. AH! I love this so much!! You have an awesome director to do this. I wanna do this!!

  • Want to see this on the field?? Check out Atlanta CorpsVets 2010 on YouTube, AWESOME!!!

  • Check out Atlanta CorpsVets 2010, AWESOME show!!!

  • OMGSH...I really want to do this next year for our band...been looking for it all the time on youtube and I finally found an amazing arrangement :D SOOOOO AWESOME!

  • @CPcoasterguy94

haha, Thanks! It was really fun. If you do get it, just make sure you practice to make it awesome. otherwise.... it's just a jumble of notes.

  • @zavakuria ..heyy there!. my band is playing this song this year!..and its damn hard to make it perfect..im in the percussion and the bass drum's notes are CRAZY!!..

    haha..anyways..

ill b posting it very soon okay!

    hav a nice day :)

  • @chazdevils

-Sheah. to make it perfect is definitely a challenge. It's really not that hard of music once you memorize the finger patterns (for mello) but i can't imagine the bass!!

...but our bass line wasn't the best, but we had a pretty beast big bass drum. i don't know what that one is. xD But he's drum major next year so we'll see how THAT goes without a star bass drummer...

  • @zavakuria alright thanx fr the vdeo :)

  • We played Caos and Tapestry at Davidson High, in Mobile, AL.

  • I hear ya, were playing that song, and the Saxs cant catch up, same with the battery!

  • @Luciarnious

I know right??? The mellophones had to play half the song with the saxes cause they just couldn't be heard! Battery was a nightmare trying to get along with.

  • I have to preform these three songs at the ACC's! it will be amazing

  • these songs are easier than they sound. but the sets are kinda hard. or they were until the band director changed them and made them too easy....

  • @ringosan8035 mhmmm. well, they weren't that hard. It just takes focus. :P

  • I am in Tampa Florida, and we just did this as our show, and it was fun. but difficult

  • I really wish my school Alhambra High School from CA was actually doing this show. I'm rather disappointed because I thought the beginning of this piece's flute solo would have been pretty good to have our senior flute represent our band. Not trying to say anything, but I think this senior flutist have endured quite some deserving recognition through the four years they have been in band. I think it's good for our band to learn how to blend better with this majestic piece.

  • Weird my school school is doing the same one.....we getting our drills on Monday :)

  • @KillerAce1995 oh hi jessi! :D our tapestry was slower huh.

  • I can't wait till we can play it onthe field!
