The band shots were in 24p from a DVX100 and the storyline shots were with a vx1000..

Haven't messed around with the 24p on it yet but from what I've read it doesn't record in "True 24p" It's how it's pulled down. BTW What was the NLE?

Yeah the 24p on HV20's just cuts out frames to give it a slower look instead of actually recording in it.

I've seen footage from one though and it looks good though.
