@DarkSwanz - Some are bred to have a really flat face, some aren't. If your cats eyes are outlined in black, like eye liner and has a brick red nose also outlined in black with black paw pads, then she'd be a chinchilla persian and so not flat faced

Why are they playing arabic music when talking about persian cats? Oh yeah, the general public can't be bothered to tell the difference. Not to mention those 'peki-faced' persians look nothing like their ancestors.

My point (which you obviously failed to see) is that there is a limit to what the general public knows/wants to know. I'm a psychology student, and I learn every day about other cultures, but not about their music styles... The fact that they played the wrong music might be important to you, but you need to realise that most people don't even know because they have other priorities/interests. So I'm sorry, but I'm afraid that you are the one being willfully ignorant.

@camillajonsson yes they are, especially those with a little longer noses without the "break". Golden chinchillas of this type are my favourite. i wouldn't want to own one though since i'd be too lazy to wipe its eyes and comb the coat every day for like 20 years.

chocoland and lilac persians are my favorites too !

I bred them for 12 years ld ! until I met problems with kibbles ... I found mycotoxins in the kibbles that destroy their reproduction function :-( Now I just own some old persians cats that are retired !
