Man, When I was fighting the final boss and I was listening to this song. I was about to cry. Then the ending of the game just made me cry more. But then I was excited to the baten kaitos 1.

Surprising yet true. For me the usual songs for final bosses say, "I will make him rue the day!!!" And that is awesome, but this one is different and somehow more powerful, this one says, "The world can't afford for me to lose."

I honestly think that Wiseman is somehow connected to the Dark Brethren. And somehow the war with the gods and humans. Malpercio's heart was tainted by the Dark Brethen in which the original BK which inturns why Malpercio became evil.

But...why did the children of Earth killed Malpercio knowing that He was trying to stop Wiseman? Why didn't they go after Wiseman? After all he is the root of all evil.

I love this song. I only played BKO but it's seriously one of the most beautiful, emotionally-driven games I have played. And it doesn't hurt that the combat and gameplay is also fantastic. I'm not sure if I'm going to play through it a 3rd time but damn if the 1st two times didn't blow me away.

Man, it felt SO good to get to Verus-Wiseman and wail on his ass with this song in the background after seeing someone else do it on here. I was not bothered by seeing the ending before I got the game, in fact, I am glad I did so.

This game, as well as the first Baten Kaitos, both rocked the house! Beautiful games, two of the best RPGs I've played in a long, long time. This is one of my favorite songs, another one is "Raincloud" which is just...wow....

Music is so damn underrated in computer games, especially RPGs. Baten Kaitos delivered such a wonderful artistic style to it; ahead of its time. I feel it's a shame that this game didn't get the attention it deserved.

You really said it. The Baten Kaitos games (together, I group them) are my second favorite games of all time. They are some of the only games ever to emotionally move me thanks in large part to songs like this, and the hopelessness of the character's struggles.

RPG's are a different class of games to me. I love them because they emotionally move me... it's an important part of the genre. I feel the only game that affected me more than Baten Kaitos was Skies of Arcadia.

I think it's awesome that Motoi recorded this song with her own daughter as the singer, she has a gorgeous voice.

The Baten Kaitos series has some of my favorite game music, in fact both soundtracks are great for just chilling and listening to outside of the game.

I loved this game, I played it all the way through to the end, and beat the "true" final boss. I still say the first one was better overall, but this one was certainly one solid RPG with great voice-acting, the best one being the announcer who said "FIGHT!" at the beginning of each battle.

Seriously, that guy rocked the house, and made the game that much more enjoyable to me. BTW, the actual title of the song in English is "The Principle of Love" if one were to put it correctly.

But that announcer guy is one of the best. 8D It never fails to get me absolutely pumped before a fight with an major boss or something. Give that guy a medal, haha.

Even though a couple times he had me on the fritz, I used a Book of Mana and managed to revive my characters with full HP right in time.

And yeah, BKO has the better voice-acting, but I feel the original BK has the better music, and better plot. Still, both games are great, and must be experienced by RPG lovers alike.

For me, it's nice beating the shit out of BKO's Trio. Especially Valara, haha. I hated killing Bein though. I think I got attached to him or something. D: I actually started bawling when Baelheit mentioned him later on. XD

Baten Kaitos is alongside Skies of Arcadia as the top two games that I felt REALLY sad about when I finished them. There doesn't appear to be many of games with this much enchantment anymore.
