Jarelchico : saying mocap will replace animators is like saying air powered tools will replace the carpenter.

Cool simulation, my only comment would be to increase the mesh density of the water plane. I can see fractal artifacts on the extreme close-up where the camera sweeps by her shoes. Caustics would also be cool.

Yes, many animated scenes are already made with human mocap moves...

@jarelchico Mocap is only the motion used. Someone still has to make the model, texture it, light it, not to mention, all the objects and effects in a scene, architecture, etc.. etc....

I have no worries that there will always be a need for animators. Actors, now there is a dying breed:) If mocap is all digital, why pay an actor millions when bob in janitorial could probably pull it off :)
