@timeischemical ...Lots of overdrive then hit the string with the volume down and raise the volume slowly... he has a harmonic going to. It helps if you have a wah pedal for this as the wah effect can dramatically help the increase in volume if you go from bass to treble with the wah as vol' increases.... Wah isn't essential however.
