does red wings provide schedule routes. or does it only operate charter flight ?

@ustiansniper it only has charter flights, mainly to Egypt - Sharm el Sheikh, Hurghada, Turkey - Bodrum, Antalya, Istanbul, and Spain - Barcelona, Malaga. Maybe there are more destinations but Im not sure.. Their main hub is Vnukovo but recently they flew from Domodedovo because the other airport had maintanence or something

Some Russian airlines are world class quality! I flew S7 and Aeroflot recently on long flights, and I can't complain. The food was good, too. Service? The best.

He was manual flying it for quite a long time... scary... why do they still need a flight engineer on such a modern aircraft?!

@4crevis Thhey dont need the flight engineer,but while the flying pilot do the flying,the none flying pilot and the F/E do some work each... more easy for the none flying pilot to pay attention to the screens for failiures,speed,altitude etc... it just eases the work for everyone in the cockpit...

@4crevis Its better that they fly enough manually too than flying all time with autopilot and then failing when some system malfunction prevents use of autopilot in bad conditions, like what happened with AF447.

Generally flight and Aircraft tu-204 is good ! But Captains crew coordination CRM is not good ! thats is the reason that co-pilot is frozen ! what they will do in case of emergency ? crash or drop in panic ?

@naisi Ah come on that's bullshit... Speaking Russian doesn't make anything unsafe, crew operations are conducted in the air crew's native language, it is much more safe. The plane is Russian, the avionics are in Russian, the airline is Russian, the pilots are Russian... The only thing that has to be done in English is the Radio Communications , and this is it.

@robactor TU 204-100 still uses a flight engineer yes.. :-S but, the new TU 204SM does have a 2 crew cockpit, no more flight engeneers, yeey :)

@stasisnu18 Well I haven nothing per say against flight engineers, but I noticed that during crucial moments (Landing and takeoff) they're yapping away and shouting orders which is confusing and potentially risky. A two man team in the cockpit is a more "sterile" environment. Anyway, just a thought;-)
