  • Much like my dad, I'm a huge ETC fan, I listen to his greatest hits pretty often. Glad to see an official video for Once In A Blue Moon.

  • Says more than words can normally say...

  • Ya gotta keep the old country alive!

  • That House In This Video Is The Same House In The Trace Adkins Ever Light In The House Is On Video

  • @NASCARROCKS It's a similar setting, but it's not the same house (unless extensive modifications have been done over the past 30 years).

  • My husband loves this song

  • great song and video.. thanks for sharing.

  • @boobyboobful we have one in houston..it's called country legends..love it!

  • The sweetes woman I've ever known came on to me this summer and expresssed a love for me that she had kept to herself for years. The problem is she's already in a relationship and I'm sure she hates the way she loves me sometimes.

  • this is me except swap the motor bike for a lawn mower!!

  • I'm 21, and I love a little bit of everything, but i'd rather old country over anything. :)

  • @mrscornbreadfed well its great to see that the new younger fans know about the old.

  • This song reminds me of me. Minus the loving wife.

  • Greatest video out there. It has helped keed the wife and I together for 23 years. Thanks for the memories. Hope to see you in concert SOON in Michigan or Wisconsin.

  • oh, Earl.

if i had a dollar for every morning i woke up like that.. .

  • Wow, I do not enjoy much of the new country but loved Earl Thomas and John!

  • Rip the audio from this tune at tubepull doht cohm.

  • I love the older country. The stuff I grew up with is sooooo much better than what we have no. All the stuuf we have now is ok but nothing, compared to songs with heart and soul. Songs that told a story. I love that country and would love to hear more of it on the radio.

  • lol to willoves i have the tool box

  • I love this song, thanks so much for sharing.

  • are you kidding me ...only 8k views ....this is a classic dance hall song

  • Probably one of the best videos that CMT ever played. Earl Thomas Conley is fantastic! I hope he is well, I haven't seen him in years.

  • And by starting the Motorcycle, Earl has saved their marriage and defeated his alcoholism!

  • Obviously, the writers weren't Christians. The lyric mentions 'lucky stars above'. Earl Thomas hit #1 in Billboard, 5-3-86. God bless!

  • @DaveWollenberg whats wrong with you? Who cares what religion they are? Its a great song, moron. I guess non-Christians shouldnt love country music.

  • @dandebonaire I'm sayin' that Christians shouldn't look to the stars for their future. They should look to the VERY ONE who MADE those stars. God bless!

  • I am 28 and I remember when this first came out my dad played it in his old truck. I love all of ETC songs. He is the man!

  • ive woken up like that. no longer drive after drinking. just a bad idea. beautiful song... and he stole my toolbox

  • im 14 but my idol is etc

  • @TheWadejones it's great to know the youth is listing to this music. The great rockers are always talked about but so easy for the country acts to get over looked

  • @RareCountry2 Earl Thomas Conley looks just like actor Jake Gyllenhaal. Compare their pictures side by side and you will see. Like Jack, Earl Thomas is a sex symbol. Modern country sucks and has lost all masculinity and soul, so we turn to the legends in country music.

  • @TheWadejones -- Good for you, Bud- there are SO many great singers from the 80's out there, and I've had some of the BEST times of my LIFE dancing & listening to ETC, Waylon Jennings, Loretta Lynn, Willie Nelson, I could go on&on, ( Oh--I can,t forget Charley Rich-" Behind Closed Doors" I LOVED his voice and Ray Price-- ) Sorry- I get carried away- anyway, you just keep listening to that beautiful music-and I wish you ALL the best-- take care- Sincerely Yours, the Dancing Dictionary- Bye!

  • @TheWadejones good choice, if you like this try some t gram brown, and some vern gosdin

  • I always loved this song. And thats also a very good lookin woman. Do women this good looking and sweet actually exist?

  • if that? ; (

  • This is one of my favorite country songs of the 80's.
