@midnull Yep...girls lie... but it's a way of courting so I guess if they care enough to lie to you, it means they like you. Some girls call it "dancing" as in they prefer the little dance we do (games) before the action happens. Haha
And I wouldn't call it a "dance" I'd call it deceit. I mean if the girl lies to you...your trust is broken. If she lied to you when she first meets you...what makes you think she's not going to lie to you again?
If the person lies, they're not honest...and you can't build any relationship on that (that includes friendship).
