Having seen other interviews of his, I think Simm was stutterly in this one because he's probably regretting taking the role. He's not as proud of this work as he is of the many wonderful productions he's been a part of.
If you watch The Lakes, you'll see he is/was a smoker.
Love the interview - erms and all (as a person who says eh a lot I can relate :)). Simply put, love JS, eh?
Hated the film - Christina Ricci/Miranda annoyed me to no end... didn't quite get her motivation. Probably worth a look see to decide for yourself - but isn't one of the DVDs I own out of my massive JS collection.
