This is how Burnout is supposed to be, fast paced, flashy graphics and vibrant colours, not like Paradise where everything was blue and grey and in general dull.

PS2 connected to TV and PCI TV capture card in my PC (any card with a SAA7134 chip will do). I record with VirtualDub to a lossless video file (about 1GB per minute) and then prepare the video for displaying on YouTube, then it gets encoded to a very high bitrate Xvid video and I upload it. Years of experience are behind this, it's by far not as easy as it may sound (it's not just "press record") and you can screw up the whole video quality easily if you do anything wrong.

Unfortunately the "big" cars like the trucks and busses can not be selected in anything but the crash mode (crash junctions), not in races etc.

It says both artist (1st line) and title (2nd line) of all the songs used in this video at the beginning of each song.

No, that music has been added by me later. When I played this I set the in-game music volume to zero. I did this because I don't like the type of music that comes with the game, in my opinion it doesn't fit a fast driving game like this.

Great, great, GREAT game - but I still prefer Paradise City.

Open racers are the key for me. Once I got used to driving around and exploring a full open world without the limitation of a circular track - none of the "track" based racers cut it for me anymore.

I even tried Forza 3 and Need for Speed shift, I have to say the graphics are great but I still keep going back to freeburning in Paradise City!

Cos I set the Music Volume to zero when I played this (so that there's no music at all) and then added my own music later to the video. I don't really like the music that comes with Burnout, in my opinion it doesn't fit a driving game and it's not my type of music anyway...

No, to record I use my computer with a Capture Device. The Playstation 2 is connected to a S-VHS recorder so that the signal gets split both to my TV (so I can play as usual) and the computer.

To record I use "VirtualDub" (freeware), but the recording program is only one component that is needed and has to be set up properly to record video footage off a game console like the PS2 in such a good quality. You also need a capture device (TV capture card) and plenty of knowledge about how video works, its really not something you can do with a few clicks here and there.
