what's funny is pete townsend refused to wear the silver suit and hat- so Paul McCartney called Pete a "puff" during the original recording of this concert you cna hear it

@SnowBirdDog I didn't realize it was LJ until recently. I actually met Juber and got his autograph at a performance he did as a solo musician. He's pretty funny in real life too, not just onstage. Wikipedia even mentons the hat incident,

Most of the Rockestra wore silver suits for this performance. On the Concerts for Kampuchea home video, Paul can be heard m saying" . "Thank you, Peter. Only lousy sod who wouldn't wear the silver suit. Cuz he's a poof( slang for gay )." LJ can be seen walking up behind Pete afterward and placing a silver top hat on his head, but Pete quickly grabs the hat and flings it into the audience."
