@twobomb4u Primarily based on a Canadian Rules of the Road Drivers Education Booklet. However the section for traffic signs should be similar to the US.

@ArianeQube The wording used in the official text states the car that comes to a stop first can proceed first. It continues to state it is more important to stay safe than to insist on having the right of way. Bottom line proceed with caution when stopped at a four way stop.

@LiLAztec92nd It is when you see a pedestrian or another vehicle about to cross your path. Instead of continuing you see the pedestrian or another vehicle and stop. It is similar to what you do when you see a stop sign, however you would only come to a full stop if a pedestrian or another vehicle crosses your path.

I have had my licence for a year and a half yet memory fades with time and there are lots of rules that I've forgotten.

If you take, let's say a left, in an intersection where there are no light when entering the intersection, where YOU enter it, yet the ones crossing your path have lights, must you stop in the middle of the intersection if there is a red light for the ones that come from your right?

For everyone who is scared to take it, I got 100% right without studying. It's common sense, and 1/4 of the questions are about alcohol (which you learned already in highschool). So don't sweat. Just think of the logical answers

do you have to stop at an intersection when turning if there is no stop sign ?

@cheergiiiirl In this situation you would first use your signal light to indication the direction you will be making your turn. This way drivers behind you and in front of you in the opposing lane will know you intend to turn. If you intend to turn in front of opposing traffic you will need to come to a full stop at the intersection and proceed when it is safe to do so. If you are making a right turn you may need to come to a full stop if an opposing driver is also turning into the same lane.

@auroraionaa The blind spot refers to an area that can not be fully seen by just using your mirrors alone.  Some newer cars have built in sensors to assist in identifying if another vehicle is in your blind spot. If your car does not have these advanced features you would look over your left or right shoulder to ensure for example before making a lane change that the lane is indeed clear.

I think it should be standard for people to have to take their drivers test every 7 to 10 years. Lets face it some of these drivers that got their licence 10+ years ago prob would fail if they had to take it again. I don't think one time is enough.

I need to know what signal to use when your in reverse.

@cslade2010 All cars come with backup lights, at the time you set your car into reverse these lights will come on.

In some cases if you are attempting to backup in a high traffic area... I would recommend to turn on your hazard lights to make your car more visable.

3-Point Turns

To make a 3-Point Turn on the highway, you must first turn on your right signal and pull off to the extreme right side of the road.

When the way is clear, turn your wheel sharply to the left, cross to the other side of the road and stop your vehicle at the edge.

Put your car in reverse, turn the wheel sharply to the right and back up to the other side of the road.

Complete the turn moving forward in the opposite direction from which you came.

In texas there's 30 questions and if you get the first 21 right, you automatically pass with a 100. And when you take your permit test(written test) you only have to take the driving test to get your license. Some states you have to the written part for your permit and then do another written part to get your license.
