Remember in 1950, when the PLA invaded Tibet, there were no Chinese in the whole of TAR,alathough colonisation had already begun in the other Tibetan regions. Pubajia is a Tibetan Chinese (one of the 56 ethnic groups in China) although his hometown is in Sichuan, one province of China, not Tibet. He is a freshman in the Shanghai Theatre Academy (a couple of thousand Tibetan students are currently studying in Shanghai). He loves his country and so many people he treasures are Han people (the largest ethnic group in China), including his teachers, friends, and fans. So many Chinese people (both Han and Tibetan) love him too.

First, I thougt this is at Lhasa as the stage looks same as the the other video postings of the Lhasa show. Then the looking at the audience and the host, it is Amdo for sure (to exact I guess Xining). This is so much more Tibetan than the Lhasa with a beautiful Tibetan subtitles. Purba Gyal has got the charisma and a stage presence to become a huge star and looks to be a good Tibetan boy. Good for him that he chose Amdo show over Lhasa show.
