Sound nice from outside, better inside I think though!! Was there a medieval day or something coinciding with the ringing? And did you previously ring round this area, only you have a fair few vids of towers in and around Shropshire & Powys
@simonbellringer This was the celebration weekend when the bells were rededicated and it was made a big thing. Naturally for Bishops Castle this meant lots of ale and medieval costumes. We also were invited round to one of the ringers' houses for a superb BBQ. Was a good afternoon!
I prefer the sound inside but they are nice wherever you are. A funny squat tower!
The camera is a Nikon Coolpix S3. I only recently found you can record higher quality videos but that reduces the space on the card from 17 mins of vids to 7! So I'm using it sparingly!
Only been there once when all i could do was plain ocurses of grandsire which was about 2months ago. I hope to go there again for one of their practises again to help out.
not too good then i dont suppose! dads letting me use his camera for tomorrow... 3 12bell towers practising for the 12bell finals at ST pauls. neil is filling in for somoene so im allowed to come along and ring their testpeice stedman cinques!
