Works precisely as stated. For those (like me) who may have had trouble: Once you've gotten the red lights blinking, s-l-o-w-l-y click the large blue "up" arrow on the remote. WAIT a couple seconds between each click! (Each time you press the button, it is trying a new frequency to match your TV). FYI: Mine took 21 button pushes before it "found" the code. Also, DON'T FORGET to push the bottom right key (#) as soon as the TV turns on or off (once you hit the right code).
