I spend a lot of time to get this sound. My idea was combination of distorted synth sounds with some ethnic guitar-like samples(also distorted). But i still cant do this.))

Maybe you have some ideas ?)))

Some of them are third party samples, but mainly are sounds I've directly sampled from my other keyboards, then processed (Kurzweil PC1x , Yamaha DX7 and Roland JX8P mainly).

Most of the notes have dual layers (the emax is capable of playing two samples together per key).

I don't find other way, as the Emax (and the Emulator II I think) don't have portamento.

I replaced the EL sheet under the LCD display.

It can be found at electronic components distributors. Of course, some electronic skills required (it runs over 140 volt)
