  • beautiful xo

  • This is a hidden treasure!

  • brings tears to my eyes,it is so beautiful and moving

  • Beautiful and moving to the last degree. Thank you for posting.

  • absolutely beautiful

  • Someone tell her it's a B at the end.

  • Freniamo la lingua e ascoltiamo in religioso silenzio un inno a Dio e all'arte.

  • Linda voz

  • Merveilleux ! De quelle nationalité est cette cantatrice ?

    Merci

  • elle est italienne

  • Absolutely wonderful

Sublime.

  • pure io ho fatto cavalleria rusticana..grande opera

  • Increible!!! Congratulations...EXC PERFORMANCE, MUSIC...ALL. This part of the opera remember me the scene in The Godfather III when the pope dead, great association between the crucifixion and Pope´s dead

  • Splendito!!!!!

  • brava, brava cossotto

  • I hate the japanese, chinese or coreean subtitiles x(

  • Yes I dislike those subtitles too,but isn't it ironic how the asians seem to appreciate opera more than most people in the west.Since it is the asians who are releasing these incredible performances on video and dvd.

  • great song, great movie the Godfather ... BRAVO... EN MIO SPIRITO RUMENO my mind says that Cavalleria Rusticana should be the Italy's National Anthem

  • This a moving scene from the opera, as is this piece. Absolutely stunning!!

  • She is one of the best Santuzza I have ever seen. I also saw Elena do it at the Met back when.

  • Cossoto, superba. Brava, Brava Fiorenza!!!! Amen

  • Inspiring Aria & Beautifully Sung

  • Sublime...

  • Absolutely stellar!

  • Amazing artist. Voice and personality.

  • Pauline Tinsley sang this beautfully at Covent Garden in 1972. I have not been able to find anything else by her. Is there anybody who can help?

    Thanks.

  • Yes Pauline Tinsley was a fine singer - pity about the face. Another Sadler's Wells stalwart also sang Santuzza at Covent Garden - Victoria Elliot - much under rated soprano

  • isnt easter a wonderful celebratino why are they all wearing black? we dont in our production well supposivly we just get scarfs and hats added to our costumes....NYCO is doing cav/pag the way the composer wrote it with the children singing all there parts in pag! :) and i got in but i love seeing others and how they do it

  • Class, lets see some of the young protagonists have a go at this one,I for one can't wait.C'est la guerre

  • Just a little tight at the very, very top, by that point in her career, but a fabulous document all the same.

  • The Baritone/Bass sang Inneggiamo il signor wrong! I would know since I'm gonna perform this song soon, but not like this.

  • She is not as "easy" on top as she was ten years before, but it's comparing her to herself.

Outstanding upper register still; Big and beautiful sound.

  • A magical moment in this splendid opera. If only easter was this exciting!Go Florence!
