who are you to call me a racist? it makes me SICK that EVEN in art and music comments people have nothing better to do than to insult, lie and scream - and its always the cheapest to call someone a racist, or an antisemite - i dont give a damn about anyone calling ME a racist as i know myself better than YOU do and hence KNOW that i never have been any racist - all the contrary, i have always tried to HELP folks who were discriminated - a thing which YOU loudmouth most probably HAVENT
One of my favorite harp solos. Paul's shure545 is feeding back. He's working dat switch tho. Dont see it mic'd(amp), he has it loud and of course with the treble HIGH! The Great Paul Butterfield.
Love Butterfield. Blues are meant to be played slower, so this is not really blues, more of rock-blues, which I like also...no-one sounds like Butterfield, one of my favorites. Great solo!
"White men can't play the blues"...better tell Paul Orta, Rod Piazza, RJ MIschou, Joe Filsko, Jason Ricci, Adam Gussow, Paul Lamb, Charlie Musselwhite, Kim Wilson, Magic Dick, William Clarke...
i was just about to call him the maybe single fucker who can do the blues as a white man but then ..STOP! its way too fast, hectic, voice too thin .... colourless ..i don´t know what it is but ....them cats were right whenre they said , only the black man can do that - listen to albert collins, man, an forget this here. ( the harmonica is good, but child play compared to sonny boy williamson or that unnerving other white guy musselwhite)
That just looks like WAY too much fun.
