another interesting thing would be if you could build a polygon structure from a translucent / transparent material, like some kind of resin, and project the images from the inside, so no shadows are cast.

i really don't see the point of this stuff, sure it looks cool and is kinda fun but it doesn't actually help anyone in anyway , who makes this stuff and why? more to the point who buys it ? is there a market for this stuff?
