Comparing Bush and Obama is unfair because global economics had worsened a lot by the time Obama became President. EVERY country worsened a lot, even the BRIC nations, in the following years (except SIngapore?) so there was no reason for the US would be immune, regardless of the President. @lgbtTV4 If Bush's bailout got the country further in debt Obama continuing them would get us further if the war in iraq and Afghanistan got us further in debt waging war in Libya, Pakistan and Yeman would add to that. If the world was already in an economic down turn when Bush was President that wouldn't be his fault any more than a continue of it for Obama. Airline companies and so many other companies and federal Government had to step up security due to risk of terrorists.

1) He was attacking the Creationist argument that the fossil record is missing pieces. His point was that Stewie was missing lines, but you can still infer the whole. That is indeed how we know of Black Holes and quarks. Theoretical physics is all about inference (as opposed to Experimental physics).

2) The drawing's segments imply connections, just as the fossil record implies transitions. Clouds don't do that, and constellations are too sparse. His example is a good analog.
