  • I like your vids, but I do not like Hip-hop. Only because i am a musician and I don't see any musical value from hip-hop. I don't judge because of things like that though :) I think your videos have value and expect me to keep watching them :D

  • wait, this is in colour

  • President Obama: I think your good but you should stop using the word bitch.

Ludacris: Obama thinks I'm good, Bitch!

  • @yochick dmx is insane...

  • You sound like Obama XDD

  • What's up with the random DMX hatred?

  • @yochick right

  • THEY ARE TRYING TO SHUT THIS CHANNEL DOWN!

Is YouTube Punishing us for Posting Anti-Obama News?

We posted the Rapper Lupe Fiasco video saying "The biggest terrorist IS Obama, and the USA"... CBS complained and we got a warning.

Maybe CBS is angry because we called them on their MISQUOTE.. on the CBS channel they quote Fiasco as saying, "Obama is America's Biggest Terrorist"

    There's a BIG difference, right?

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE FAIR USE ACT?

google "the NSA and google are partner

  • Bitch its a fucking song your mad because he said paint the white house black. Shut your dumbass white self up.

  • DMX is that crazy cousin that everyone has thats always in jail and doin dumb shit

  • Luda ain't Hip Hop

I don't know what you would call what he does but it AINT HIP HOP

  • @MrMandingus Most of his music sure isn't. But I still like Ludacris because he's funny, but his music isn't Hip Hop. I agree.

  • @MrMandingus ludacris is the feature killer i dunno what you tal'mbout

  • dmx wat is there a beef here ill pass the word

  • "show no love to homo thugs"

    haha stupid homophobic DMX...

  • "as long as DMX stays far far away".lol classic.even DMX would laugh at that! and then he'd probably agree lol...

  • You make my sleepless nights that much more...whats the word? Sleepless. Lol :D I love your knowledge

  • VC BabyNew artist on deck, check him out.

  • you should do some videos on underground hip hop

  • thank you, a smart person

  • why judge hip hop when u know fuck all about it?

  • i think ur confusing hip hop with gangsta rap.

  • wow. you know nothing.

  • i know more than enough

  • how can u?

hiphop has a meaning like any other genre

real rappers talk about true things if u mean that some rappers jus talk with a beat on ther hate on them not hiphop itself coz thers actually for foundations which make hiphop.

  • I am a fan of musicians like Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, and The Who. I'm also a fan of artists like Atmosphere, Sage Francis, and Sole, so saying that after one has heard rock n roll, hip hop is "insulting" may define you, but some people are more open minded than that.

  • is that reference to when DMX was is XXL no knowing who Obama was?

Left Mr. Lif off the list of Obama tracks.

  • dmx is great

  • Obama thinks im good BITCH! ahahahaha

  • Don't tell DMX to stay away!

    ;-;

  • dis is good and i agree 100%

  • good video!

  • Disrspect fr handi-capped people XD

  • I didn't know this was funny.

  • Its a reference to one of his songs

  • "as long as DMX stays far far away" yes! thats so great

i just spent the last hour watching a ton of your videos and i have to say they all were superb.

    keep it up man!

  • all about how you hear it

  • all i gotta say is dont be trying to hoe my husband yall got him fucked up

  • obama said something about hip hop once that i loved cause it was so true. he was talkin about how rappers are always rappin about wats around them and where they come from, but obama said they should rap about wat "could be" instead of wat it.

  • yeah and he was raised in the suberbs and in no way knows first hand anything about poor living and real rap

  • Yep, he's the shyt!!!!!

  • This dude is so funny, he probably secretly hate hip-hop or is like me, hip-hop is herion, its bad for me but, its apart of my brain, ya know? gotta have it.

  • perfectly said, plus we hear too much of politics on the radio, tv, television...

IT'S ADVERTISING MADNESS! Making a rap song on any president means your an ass kisser, black or not....

  • no it doesnt, it means you're actually talking about things that matter, like rap should be and used to be. you're tryin to say that rap should be limited to club music, talkin about money, guns, and hoes. if tupac were alive today he woulda made a rap about this, and it wouldnt mean he's kissin ass, he would just be talkin on what feels about the situation

  • that is what rap was started for not bulshtting and whining about what isn't.. they openly discussed their viewpoints on political and social situations and conditions whereas otherwise they were shunned or not heard

  • not really rap and hip hop was started as a political outlet for African Americans not booty shaking bling in your face drugs and beer songs it started with people talking about the issues and any rapper or singer who makes a positive song about any president is rare and has only happened with obama not ass kissing just telling the truth being able to be proud to be an American for once

  • Hell it doesn't even have to BE rap. I just think that politics and all that crap is annoying. I mean, you get harassed on the phone, TV, radio, the whole fucking nine yards. If you make a song about it, those companies are gonna feel like there making a success when really, there annoying the hell out of America by repeating the bullshit!

  • yeah i can see your one of those let the world cure itself pussies who cover their ears they annoy people like you that need to live in the shit to see what they are talkin about

  • not much 2 say ur juzt a hater on da real deal u feel miii

  • This is str8, yall need to check this cat Vthov's swag. He does his own tracks start to finish.... sick beats and raw lyrics. I think he'll give a lot of major artists a good run. He's a nobody now but search "Vthov Obama Inauguration Song" and you'll see what I'm talking about. His music is fire.

  • HATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i like dmx, man...

  • YOU A FUCKIN HATER!!!!

  • Hey, this is all good... but yall need to hear this cat Vthov. Search "Vthov Obama Inauguration Song" and you'll see what I'm talking about. He's a nobody now, but he's gonna blow up with talent like that. If I'm lyin I'm flyin.

  • DON'T listen to the ppl that say u stupid and shit like that.

  • luda is a fucken racist he acknowledgedge his hate for white people remember every kinda race voted for obama it wasnt just black people that got obama in office ifhe only got the black vote he would not have won!!!!!!!

  • he sounds black

  • shut up u loser

  • Did you say "mixed company"?

I guess Obama did have a comfortable relationship w/ hip hop until he's had to talk about it in "mixed company." True Pimpin All over the World was pure misogyny but I'd still like to see Obama and Rosa Clemente debate the merits of Dead Prez.

  • JEEZYYY

  • is gay...

  • Ludacris spits fiyah but I know of an unkown cat that goes pretty hard too. Search "Vthov Obama Inauguratiion Song" and you'll see what I mean. Fiyah, pure fiyah. I can't believe people are sleeping on this guy.

  • luda is the shit.

u sound like a white as vid diesal ha ha

  • white bitches shut up

  • HE IS MIXED. wtf? He has more black in him that your ghetto ass. [smh] Facts before ignorance.

  • I don't know I think luda spoke his thoughts and couldn't care less about what other people think of him... sorta. He "bit his tongue for no one"

  • entertaining video, but what happend to FREEDOM OF SPEECH. Why do blacks always have to bite their tongue or else face being labeled racist or some shit?

  • good point, ludacris is a racist bitch, everyone would see that ludacris is a racist bitch if they would listen to his lyrics

  • I guess EVERYBODY really shut this guy up below me...

And you forgot jeezy his whole cd the recession is basically dedicated to obama.

  • 95% of black people who voted, voted for obama.

  • funny how your talking about how rappers handle themselves and your the one who has a so called "ghetto wanna be accent"

  • You dont know shit about this guy. Hes clearly a lot smarter than you considering he does things more productive than slamming others for perceived flaws.

  • What's an accent to a person? A black man can have a 'ghetto wanna be accent' just the same. Why are you defining a lifestyle to a sound of voice and then to a person?

  • BOOO U SUCK

  • Ludacris is a rapper, unlike some rappers at least he didnt say stuff like he murders people when he doesn't. he was bein real and speakin his opinion, disturbing the peace as usual, if u dont like it. who cares, its just a song. change the fucking channel.

  • @jaymitch23 Think you might have missed the point. This was beyond the *just turn the channel* point. When you are meeting with the president, you can't simply turn the channel. Unlike rap when it is in its own *echo chamber* as this man called it, when you transcend that and go beyond your niche audience you need to convey yourself in that manner. 300 mill Americans can't turn the channel, which is why he should have followed suite and not act as if he was still within the rap subculture alone.

  • Obama: i think your good but you should stop using the word "Bitch"

Ludacris: You here that Obama thinks im good "Bitch"

    i cracked up on that

    lol

  • This was SO well said

  • i love luda!!

  • lol very very very very well said.

u forgot to mention young jeezy who gave respect to obama, but other than that great and very thoughtful video. and comical.

  • Yea lets "paint the white house black"

  • "...as long as DMX stays FAR away."

    Zing!

  • "As long as DMX stays far away.." HAHA!! that is so true! He would bring his dogs along and mess it up even worse lol.

  • you right on bro. outta da park!

  • I agree with the video but you over exaggerate the problem, so what.. Luda chirped some people in his song "Obama is Here" .. What do you expect, its Ludacris. I loved the song and its just who he is to make a song like that, I agree with almost everything he said in that song.

  • Your completly right. Nice vid

  • "I make it for a mixtape, so my intention was to give it to the streets."

The Politics track was never meant to go into the government's hands, it was FOR THE FUCKING STREETS. It's on a mixtape, goddam. How the fuck is that supposed to be circulated amongst politicians? The point is, he never meant for it to be this big.

  • Everything becomes "this big" when your in the public light, isn't that famous ppl 101 lol

  • Of course he's in a public light, all showbiz is. But this was supposed to be underground. For the streets. Not as an official notice for all of the USA, which the country has obviously taken it to be.

  • So many things are over publicized, and once you released something into the public you can't mediate how much attention it gets. Saying it wasn't supposed to be big doesn't change the fact that common sense shows you can't control whether it is or isn't. I don't see why people are surprised by him being called on it

  • I'm not surprised that he's been called on it, I'm defending his intentions for the track as opposed to intentionally releasing a profane record degrading publicly the presidency and other candidates.

It's precisely my point that it's beyond his control that resulted in this controversy, shouldn't that much be obvious as well? "He never meant for it to be this big"?

  • I agree that it was beyond his control, but I also think he was smart enough to know that there was a chance of it becoming bigger than he expected. I'm not saying it's right or wrong, I'm just sayinghe should have known better than to think it would only circulate between a certain demographic.

  • Yeah, I know. *sigh*

  • shut the fuck up! like being controlled? :) e

  • His record-label has contractual problems and he was pressured into making this recording. Guess, who pressured him?

  • Yo thia guy has been under a rock.

  • Says the guy responding to a two-month old video..

  • oh this guy is funny, i like it and he's right. Its not about obama's colour, its about what he's doing for your country, i think luda did get this one wrong in every way possible, but fair to him i completly respect what he is trying to do...... brandonword, come on...really...how old are you? some people need to wise up! this is not the way we encourgae people to vote obama, and i will be so gutted if mcain wins this

  • And I was Talkin About Da Rap Message...

  • And Obama most likely Denounced Luda Due 2 He would lose votes for "Applauding A Rapper" White America Hates Rappers. OBAMA HAS 2 GET WHITE AMERICA 2 BE COMFORTABLE ENOUGH WITH HIM 2 GET VOTES. ITS SAD, BUT WAT YOU THINK WOULD'VE HAPPENED IF HE APPLAUDED LUDA. WHITE PEOPLE WOULDVE BEEN LIKE "AWW HELL NAW, HE AGREES WITH THESE RAPPING, IGNORANT, NIGGERS"... NOW AM I LYING? I BET OBAMA AGREED WIT LUDA BEHIND DOORS!!!

  • Mannnn Who Da Fuk is U. Suck A Dick Son...

  • Ludacris did an awesome work! He scared the competition and didn t damage Obama, as he didn t have anything to do with this. At the same time he showed his great skills ... a really amazing song

  • YOUR DUMB!!! everything you said Ludacris Kept it real....!!! you guys can't handle the truth!!!

  • shut the fuck up man

  • shut the fuck up american dick

  • yeah youre right.

Yo, you fell into the trap by making this stupid ass video.

  • Or maybe YOU fell into the trap by leaving this comment! Didn't think of that, did you..

  • You don't have anything to do with me, but you still came here to comment on what I do. So if you can do that, then I can comment on Luda. It's simple logic.

  • Comment removed

  • Haha, if you don't enjoy my videos feel free not to watch, everyone's taste is equally valid.. but it's highly unlikely that you have more experience and knowledge of hip-hop than I do. :)

  • wanna bet. put ya money where ya mouth is bitch.

  • Comment removed

  • you called me out on my knowledge of hip hop. wassup. prove that you have more knowledge. school me LAME. i will admit that i didn't expect you to respond, but you did and you say that you know more about hip hop than me. all i have to say is PROVE IT!!!

  • you're lucky to have gotten a response from this guy in the first place. you're hella dense if you think your immature replies would warrant further ones.

  • who the fuck r you. you need to get off of this lames dick and nut sack and get into some business of your own.

  • @coldblack87

I know this is old, but I'm baffled.

Do you just like.. not know who this guy is or something?

Do some research on "Jay Smooth" and the Underground Railroad show on WBAI sometime.

  • "Obama thinks I'm good, Bitch!"

    Oh love!

  • DMX didn't even know who Obama was, so I wouldn't worry about him getting politically active.

  • Ludacris didnt do anything wrong at all qo.op

  • The polls are even

  • LOL PhilFag420, "When O-dog wins the white house the panthers are going to eliminate you biatch" LMFAO!!!! First of all, you're some twelve year old little bitch who doesn't know anything about politics, TWO, you're some twelve year old little bitch that doesn't know ANYTHING about the black panthers, THREE, Shut the fuck up, obama is a good man and he is color blind, you think just because he is black life is going to be almighty for every black person on this planet? LOL you're a fucking moron

  • Pussygansta17, your the young douche with the IQ of a tree stump. I know more about the real world and politics then you'll ever know. You obviously don't know shit about barry but thats not a suprise.

  • Honkey house? that's all it is to you isn't it, just a chance to get back at all the white people by saying "Oh an african-american is president now, what now!" okay, get a life you fucking douchebag.

  • Hopefully, he learned that just because you can say something, it does not mean that you should. No problem with him supporting Obama, that is his right. But he chose not to be professional and mature about it.

  • LOL! Great video hommie. I laughed my ass off when I first heard Ludas song. I should have known the media was gonna rip it apart. Obama... I think your great but you need to stop using words like Bitch...Luda...Obama thinks Im great Bitch! LOL

  • Great Viedo!!

  • I like Ludacris, but he didn't need called hillary that.

  • THis guys is freaking smart.. he has a huge forhead.. but lets not listen to him, stopped videao at 0:23 secs.. no need to listne any further.. lame fella

  • yes please keep DMX far far away!! lmao good vid

  • dont u also make freeze frames buddy?

  • wow , impressive perspective

    very well said

    keep up the good work

    "Neuvo Journalism"

  • Very well said.

  • I don't know this "ludacris" individual, but

having seen his video, this has to be one of the most painfully pathetic and truly disturbing examples of american- skill?talent? education? entertainment? (what is it?) that I have ever witnessed. I am saddened & sickened to think that our countries youth are viewing such complete and utter crap. Where is the intelligence or even the ability to speak coherently? At least, Obama is capable of that........

  • He said he doesn't have much to say on the issue so naturally he may seem a bit nonchalant about it. Watch some of the man's other videos and you will find his talks both insightful and truthful. I think that you, as a person have allowed your love of Obama to oversee the logic presented in this video.

  • This is probably the best video on this topic. Most of these videos are just Ludacris bashing from people who generally don't like hip hop. But this one is fair and reasonable.

  • "In every sense of the word this is a Ludacris issue." hehe nice pun Jay. Kudos!

  • jay smooth left a comment!

    O.o... :O...

  • lmfao 1:40-1:46 soo true, once again J nice work

  • You pretty much rock all around.

  • Ludacris, and the rest of these rappers, are NOT helping Obama. They're only HURTING HIM. They're SCARING these white people, and Obama needs their votes.

Black people need to calm the fuck down and FALL BACK. Let Obama get into office, and THEN make these retarded songs.

  • lol 'As Long As DMX Stays Far Away.." ahah made my day

  • whew. i was expecting to hear some either obama bashing or luda bashing in this video, without looking at the issue from all sides. dunno why since you always make the most valid points on any issue. but i was refreshed to hear your stance on this issue. good job, man, as usual!

  • haha "pretend to be respectable"

  • ...and people say Women hear only what they want to...lol.

What's up Jay? I'm glad you made this video to point out why people miss opportunities and moreover pointing out people who can't handle good structured criticism that actually helps. I guess that's all I have to say.

    Good Video!

    Jen

    Selfemployment Solution Center

  • Very true. Lol, DMX is crazy.

  • hehehe@DMX!

  • Lol, those rappers you name wouldn't be creditable.People learn and observe.Just because they are a Mos Def or Talib Kweli don't mean they excluded because we know EXACTLY what Mos problem is.Marinate that.People taking this WAY too far and making it bigger than what it really is.I can't believe people actually catching on to a song on a mixtape.Shows which is more important these days...

  • ^.^"

  • Wow you're smart

  • As I've stated before (and this video calls for it again), did we forget what the fuck Hip Hop is? Obama and Ludacris did just as I expected. Being politically correct doesn't sell records. Being controversial does. I guess everyone forgot that right after Chamillionaire sided with Oprah and agreed to stop cursing on records was the same time all of his fans started saying he fell off. Understand what Hip Hop is before you diss a rapper for acting like a rapper.

  • so what you're saying is because you're a rapper you have to say outrageous and idiotic things. having that state of minf youll never grow up as an individual. oh and chamillionaire would have falled off regardless if he cursed or not.

  • Where have you been? Why do you think Eminem sold so many records? Why do you think people were so interested when Kanye said "Bush doesn't care about black people"? Never grow up as an individual? Thats what Hip Hop is about. Staying young. Why do you think Jay-Z is like 42 and trying to call himself 38 with the nickname "Young Hov"? Hip Hop is about holding on to your youth.

  • Yeah but none of the examples you cited are comparable to what Ludacris did.. Jay, Kanye and (sometimes) Em have all proved that you can be controversial and get buzz WITHOUT straight making a fool of yourself.. Kanye and Em both reached the top by doing the opposite, mixing their shock value with thoughtful and emotionally complex records like "Jesus Walks" and "Stan"..

Hip-hop is about many things, you can't single out one trend and say "that's what hip-hop is"..

  • True, but this video itself proves my point. He's not getting attention because he made a song endorsing Obama. He's getting attention because of the outlandish things he said. I don't see Jay Smooth making videos about the other artists who made references to Obama.. because they didn't stand out. Once again, being controversial gets you attention.

  • Right but this assumes that getting attention is the be-all end-all, and that all attention has equal value. We've seen throughout this election that some attention can be beneficial but other kinds can do more harm than good.. This is bringing more attention to Obama too but it's not the kind that he wants..

And Jay-Z DID get a bunch of attention for simply endorsing Obama and saying "we're ready for change" in his live shows, without playing himself (or Barack) in the process..

  • Also, if this really was just Luda trying to get attention and that was it, I'd say hey more power to him.. but what makes this track dumb and contradictory is that if you take Luda by his own word, he's NOT just trying to get publicity.. he's identifying Obama as a friend and talking like he's trying to help him win, telling everyone to get out and vote.. that's what makes it look ridiculous when he mixes that "supuport" with a bunch of rhymes that potentially hurt Obama's campaign.
