  • this video and song are way too long....and that is mainly because the song truly stinks.... a good deal is ripped off material to boot.... these guys aren't dumb, they are quite aware all you idiot majors will keep shelling out cash for this crap.

  • i agree with downeykid but the end part with journey reminds me of when you take your girl home after a long night, and you too are just chillin with each other reminiscing on the amazing night

  • this song makes me think of how much more powerful your emotions are when your intoxicated. the lil wayne part is like getting drunk (no worries). the ac/dc part is like where your really over whelmed by the party. the middle is realizing that there is nothing to be scared of.. but the end makes me so sad and reminds me of how depression can just creep up on you when your under the influence of alcohol or marijuana and and any other substances. my thoughts.

  • first time that soulja toy sounded good!!

  • @snowdjagha i was thinking the same thing..

  • I love girl talk and DJ Ross Comer too... they are soo good!!

  • 300 years ago a bunch guys in wigs and shoes with buckles were creating amazing music with a goddamn pen and paper, without even sitting in the same room as an instrument. this fuck head has a bank of friggin pentium processors and the best he can do is play other peoples shit with an 808 emulator in the background?

  • Actually, he has one processor (on a single laptop) and the music isn't quite as simple as "playing other people's shit with an 808 emulator".

  • yea, please explain the complexities of matching up two songs and playing them side by side to me? i'm confused

  • I guess if that's what he was doing, I might see where you were coming from, but even in the description, just these 3.5 minutes contain 10 samples, and that's relatively small for a Girl Talk song. Some of them exceed 20 samples. Anyways, what he does is he picks these songs, he cuts out certain parts and sometimes he'll reform them so wildly that they become something else entirely (see Double Pump) or he uses more recognizable samples and mixes and syncs them together.

  • Syncing samples of this nature together means taking apart the original songs and extracting the one part you need, and then retuning and editing its speed to match with whatever track you intended to make it work with. Not only that, but this isn't something you can do with every song, where you can just pick things at random and do this. You have to do a lot of experimenting to be able to find out what works and what doesn't. There's more depth to the process than just "matching up two songs".

  • Not only that, but you're off-base in terms of ideology. Sure, writing music was very different centuries ago, and people spend years, sometimes even their entire lives studying just a select few of those works, but that's no basis for devaluing modern music today. That's like saying "old dudes with wigs created amazing art with paint" and then going on to call collage artwork worthless. Would you really say it's that simple? The comparison you make is simply ridiculous.

  • My apologies for having a point.

  • @panzerthrice it's only spam if we don't appeciate it.

  • @panzerthrice Hipster faggot

  • @panzerthrice you are a raging homo

  • aha your such a fag its just cuz you dont jam and spend your time commenting on youtube shit

  • @The3lse nicely put buddy

  • @panzerthrice the thing is most of the times he layers various pieces of songs. don't confuse this with beatmatching (a dj technique)!!

this is called sound collage, and it's not done in virtual dj or tracktor. this is done in other kind of software.

search in here his video making a little collage.

  • @panzerthrice Obvious troll, but I wish i could destroy you either way

  • I lol'd when Under the Bridge started playing under Lollipop. That was brilliant.
