@mikemoair I spent many many hours searching the net to get these pictures. They were old mug shots and such. I kind of thought myself lucky to have found any at all. No one cared about these girls enough to make a really good picture of them and if they did they have not shared them with me.
Even with the poor quailty of the pictures, we can see that they were real people with real feelings. and with any luck I have been able to ensure they are not forgotten.
These are all someone's daughter, someone's mother or sister. They were all someone's baby. Most women end up in this situation through abuse in the family and scumbags like Ridgeway pray on their vulnerability. They are not just "prostitutes"...they are human beings. I have read many books on Serial Killers, and I think Gary Ridgway is one of the creepiest because who would ever think a nurdy weak looking 150lb man is capable of killing all those people?

I can't recall the young woman's name, but her family members went to Rigdeway's house after tracking his truck down. I upsets me to think that they loved her so much, but weren't able to help her pull things together.
@scorpietta One of the boy friends followed that girl when she got into the truck with Gary. Then later he and some of her family drove around and looked for the truck. They found it at his house and called the police. The police went to the door but did not go inside. The girl was inside dead I think at the time. If the police had cared more, Gary would have been stopped sooner and many of these girls would not have died. They did not care. I am sorry I don't have her name right now.
@MyDaddyCool Thank you, I believe that her name was Marie Malvar (sp?), but I am not sure. I don't blame the families, but I wonder what more of a role they may have been able to play. I really feel that law enforcement "dropped the ball" on this one. Ridgeway may have been nonchalant and unassuming, but officers know that things aren't always as they seem.

We also cannot blame the cops. They did what they could with what they had at the time. In the 80's and 90's this was a different world. The cops we have today would go into that house. Police lied to Ridgeway about having DNA on the girls to link him.. Was told that Rose Marie was "The only body with anything on it, all others were to decomposed to have anything n them. Rose Marie Kurran is not linked to Gary Ridgeway in any way. Rose Marie Kurran’s death is related to East LA, CA. She was in a stolen car and shipped home by the CA Hiway Police after being picked up and shortly after returning home she was killed. That is why the finger print on black plastic bag that she was in when it was run through Scotchland yard, Interpol and Avis did not match anyone, but instead shows that it would have to be someone who came from Mexico as all else have passports..

She was there, on the street because she was young and in love with someone that led her into a life of drugs and the streets. There was no DNA linking him to any of the cases. Police lied to get a confession. Only thing was a fingerprint on Rose Marie and no match in Scotland yard, Avis and another fingerprint place. I believe that there were more than one person doing the killings.

The description of this video indicates that Gary Ridgway was killing prositutes until 2003. This is completely wrong. Gary Ridgway was arrested on November 30, 2001 and sentenced in 2003. His last known victim was Patricia Yellowrobe, who was murdered in 1998.

When I was 3 there were about 4 murders and disappearences in my town. All young women and teenage girls. One of these girls to be murdered was my sisters friend Lucy. She was found 2 weeks after she went missing in the woods near the river. She had been beating to death. 20 years later her death is still unsolved. The woods wear she was mudered scare and I won't go near them.
When you have someone murder someone else, most of tthe time they know each other or come into contact with each other for some reason. Cops can put the clues together and find the killer. But with serial killers, it is different. They kill people randomly. Most of the time leaving the area after the crime. People think, this can never happen to me and so they let their guard down. A lot of people think serial killers are a new thing but they are not. We just didn't know about them. News is good

This list of names are the ones that he said he killed or there might be a good chance he did so. Of these 60 names only a very few have not been found. The rest have been found and yes they were dead. Then video gives to dates. The date they are known to disapear, and the date they are know to be found. And a few were not found as of a January 2009. Their bodies are still out there somewhere.
i disagree with the death penalty only because when the ppl on death row die they forget the problems once they are dead. They should make them rot in prison for what they did. We dont have the death penalty in Canada because we realised too many innocent ppl had been killed by the time DNA was established and known to work for the law.

I can't recall the young woman's name, but her family members went to Rigdeway's house after tracking his truck down. I upsets me to think that they loved her so much, but weren't able to help her pull things together.

@scorpietta One of the boy friends followed that girl when she got into the truck with Gary. Then later he and some of her family drove around and looked for the truck. They found it at his house and called the police. The police went to the door but did not go inside. The girl was inside dead I think at the time. If the police had cared more, Gary would have been stopped sooner and many of these girls would not have died. They did not care. I am sorry I don't have her name right now.

I really feel that law enforcement "dropped the ball" on this one. Ridgeway may have been nonchalant and unassuming, but officers know that things aren't always as they seem.

Rose Marie Kurran is not linked to Gary Ridgeway in any way. Rose Marie Kurran’s death is related to East LA, CA. She was in a stolen car and shipped home by the CA Hiway Police after being picked up and shortly after returning home she was killed. That is why the finger print on black plastic bag that she was in when it was run through Scotchland yard, Interpol and Avis did not match anyone, but instead shows that it would have to be someone who came from Mexico as all else have passports..

@PinkLotus15 i worked on this video for a long time. i tried to find some good pictures of the girls but really there is not much out there. Most of these are crime photo's.
I guess that being scary is good for this video because it might make people understand. But I never used the music or pictures to scare anyone. I hope they did not scare you.

I must comment, yes we need to keep all the young women safe and to be aware of what is going on. and its a great idea to pay tribute, but we must also be aware for the young males as well. MO'S very from killer to killer but not all are targetting females. so whatever your sex, or orientation, no matter where you come from or what life style you end up doing please be aware and stay safe. this world is ever advancing in technology but there are still bad seeds out there.

I recommend watching Streetwise (posted on YouTube in 9 or 10 parts).1 of the victims Roberta Hayes is in it briefly, sad she is talking to another child prostitute about getting beat or murdered. Wonderful documentary.

She was there, on the street because she was young and in love with someone that led her into a life of drugs and the streets. There are so many people in this world that care little about what they do to others. And they use them for their own reasons. But if we trust in God, then he will always bring our love ones home. There was no DNA linking him to any of the cases. Police lied to get a confession. Only thing was a fingerprint on Rose Marie and no match in Scotland yard, Avis and another fingerprint place. I believe that there were more than one person doing the killings.

@Corina381 No. All of the girls were found dead. One girl excaped from him and turned him in, but he was let go. In fact he slip throught the system a few times and was never linked to the killings.
Bitchway was not a smart person, but he knew enought to only pick on weaker people that no one cared about.
If he had attacked someone of 'Respect" then he would have been found sooner.

In the case of an offender( to nice really ) such as Gary Ridgeway, I think that permanent incarceration in a maximum security facility with medication is appropriate. I just seen my sister for the first time in 15 years. She spent her life on the street like this. I never knew what had happen to her. But now thank God I know she is safe. All the names in my video were connected to the punk boy in one way or another. Even if just as a name on a list and not proved. He has told so many lies already about who he killed and did not kill, and when he started and when he stopped that I will never believe him about anything. what a shame these girls were still babies.. they didnt even start their adult lifes yet and were lost probably came from a difficult childhoods and never got a chance to learn from their mistakes and make a better life for themselves. he was just an evil thing. i wont even call him a person. rest in peace girls. you will be remembered..

Joan Conner was not killed by Gary Ridgway nor was she a "Green River Victom." She was not a prositute and never had a recorde. She is and always will be my sister. Seattle cold case took her case before Ridgway and quistioned him. He had nothing to lose if he did killer her. JUST GET YOUR FACTS STRIGHT. The man told police about victioms they did not have him linked to.

The four names at the end were added because the police questinged that B about them. I had no info on the girls but wanted to include them just to be safe. I really know nothing about them but wanted to honor their memory the best way I could. The description of this video indicates that Gary Ridgway was killing prositutes until 2003. This is completely wrong. Gary Ridgway was arrested on November 30, 2001 and sentenced in 2003. His last known victim was Patricia Yellowrobe, who was murdered in 1998.

When I was 3 there were about 4 murders and disappearences in my town. All young women and teenage girls. One of these girls to be murdered was my sisters friend Lucy. She was found 2 weeks after she went missing in the woods near the river. She had been beating to death. 20 years later her death is still unsolved. The woods wear she was mudered scare and I won't go near them.

When you have someone murder someone else, most of tthe time they know each other or come into contact with each other for some reason. Cops can put the clues together and find the killer. But with serial killers, it is different. They kill people randomly. Most of the time leaving the area after the crime. People think, this can never happen to me and so they let their guard down. A lot of people think serial killers are a new thing but they are not. We just didn't know about them. News is good

These girls are just a few of the people that go missing each day. Men, Women, and children all go missing. And some are never found. Its crying shame that there are sicko people that cannot be human, they and go around hurting others. I am not a bleeding heart liberal but I do feel bad for innocent people who lose their life to some monster who is running around getting kicks by hurting others. The girl you are talking about was not to suppose to be a prostiute. She just hung out on the streets. But then if that is so, then why was she in the car with the killer? Anyway, she was not at home like she should have been and so she become another number on the police board. There is always someone somewhere looking to hurt the weak, and if the strong does not protect the weak then we are weaker for allowing evil to dwell free. This list of names are the ones that he said he killed or there might be a good chance he did so. Of these 60 names only a very few have not been found. The rest have been found and yes they were dead. Then video gives to dates. The date they are known to disapear, and the date they are know to be found. And a few were not found as of a January 2009. Their bodies are still out there somewhere.

i disagree with the death penalty only because when the ppl on death row die they forget the problems once they are dead. They should make them rot in prison for what they did. We dont have the death penalty in Canada because we realised too many innocent ppl had been killed by the time DNA was established and known to work for the law.
God bless these girls. They were still woman, and no one derserves to die in the cruel way they did. I hope Gary Ridgeway rots in hell.

He chose 2 rat himself out even tho it meant he had 2 live N prison. Wrong has been done over the years, but that is no reason 2 let these animals live.
