The storyline is the worst part of the game. It's obscure as hell and opens a dozen plot lines that are never explained. It's like a bad J.J. Abrams production. It's not. Play it. You can move while shooting, dive to the side, take cover behind objects, there is no quick-turn, switching weapons is actually easy, there is no inventory, it's an action game not a survival-horror game, there's multiplayer albeit half-assed but it's there. Oh! And youre character has a wide range of supernatural abilities that he gains throughout the game, not the least of which is a three-pronged blade of death that grows out of his arm.

Well it really depends on what you want out of the games. Personally i found Dark Sector had a really good single player but was let down by the lack of multiplayer games whereas visa versa GOW 2 has a brilliant multiplayer but i found the single player missions a little too easy (on both normal and hardcore).

Nah apparently there are some minor differences that you probably wont even realise during game play anyway.

The 360 version generally has smoother frame rates as opposed to the PS3 which has better motion blur implementation.

When it comes to mirrors edge though, i would have no idea :S Just get whichevers cheaper cause there is never a substantial difference in the releases (y)

Nah if you put them side by side, you can notice the difference although its nothing so significant as to justify which on you should get.

Oh yeah and btw PS3 controls the glaive via six axis, i personally prefer to use the analogue sticks though.

Its not hard, there are just some parts where you have to think of what to do. On a couple parts i had to refer to a walkthrough. But other than that this is one of the best games i have played, right up w/cod4. I would recommend getting it.

Yeah that's true, I just clocked DarkSector on normal difficulty and then the hardest one and got pretty bored of it, whereas im still playing gears on Hardcore (because i was a panzy and only clocked it on casual) and after that insane XD

to all the people that think that the ps3 version is the only version with aftertouch than your wrong.. I seen a video of one of the games producers playing the 360 version and go into after touch. you just have to hold the right bumper after the glaive is trown to go in to after touch.
