yes he wrote it for his son. supposedly it was the only thing ed played when wolfie was still in the womb that he would stop kicking and listen. he would put the acoustic gutiar against her stomach and play it, it is named 316 because that his sons bday ... also I think its cool that mine is the day after 317

i like this song better with distortion. listen to eddie's live version 1986 with 316 and eruption. it has the same tone as guitarwannabee uses. sounds great.

I think it may be just too loud then. Live Ed does turn the tone knob down, which would be the volume knob, but still says "tone". I think it is played really well, but too much for the mic. you are jamming through. I'd like to see more EVH stuff from you!!!!!!!

yeh less distortion. turn the volume knob down so the distortion is muted slightly. also the guitar woz out of tune a wee bit but it woz gud and i enjoyed it.
