very interesting to watch, I kinda gave away this spot without realizing what I was doing a few years ago.. can't do anything about it now.. was bound to be sealed up eventually but atleast a few people got to check it out.... not including myself, was scared shitless to go inside lol, just wish I could have made it a little more discreet so everything didnt get stolen etc...

hi just wanted to say this is absolutely great - i have always anted to look round an abondened prison any ideas of any in uk.

I stayed in this jail for 2 years ........ i was released jan/25th 2001, I ran 6 wing after being transfered from 4 wing which was on the ground floor, 6 wing was directly above. We were removed from 4 wing so that Immirgration could send overflow detainees untill being deported. I would love to go back and see this place, i worked in tailor shop, laundry , kitchen and also plate shop, Is the "brook" just randomly open or do they offer tours? I"d love to see my old 7E cell on 6 wing!

We did have capital punishment in the past, mostly through hangings, but it was later abolished. So in some of the older jails you can still see where the gallows used to be. This prison didn't have such an area though.
