Someone should stop leaning on his caps lock button. Your sort make me laugh, ive heard it all before, thats why im being calm on you because your not worth me wasting energy over, its not me in this situation whos searched for trains. Comeback?
They have the same 'motors' as class 319s, also the only thing the 465 has in common with the 325 is the cab. The body is the same as a 319. Pretty much its a class 319 with a Networker front and of course for postal duties. :)
Well, as I said, i'm a Diesel Loco person but if I had to choose it would be the Class 175 as DMU, they comfy and nifty and my faviorite EMU would be either this or the Class 321.
Class 31s aren't really high on my list of likeness, but they are Ok when running with Network Rail, I mean they do work their arses off, they've got a fart *cough* CLAG!
31s were great in the days they used to run. Always used to see them on departmental trains running off Warrington Arpley. They were a great class when you could see them in large numbers.
I bet they were. I only remember 31s back in the day on passenger duties on my local Liverpool-Blackpool trains. They were pretty hellfire, considering they didnt stop!
Wow it's ages since i've seen these run under their own power. Use to see them a lot on the ECML through South Yorkshire. Worst thing Royal Mail did when they pulled out from using the railways.Cheers 5*

I thought that Class 325 will have the same engine as the Class 365 or 465 because of the body shape
xXDarkLILcXx 3 years ago
They sound nothing like 365s, trust me!

Diesel Locomotives all the way, Class 37 and 47 make me what I am, and Class 92s if I also talk of Electrics.
Woolybak8 3 years ago
But 325s have the same motors as 319s...
class313 3 years ago
He said 321, which has different engine motors. I agree with you, but in the northwest we dont get 319s so we have to settle for the other.
Woolybak8 3 years ago
Engines? ;) Traction motors heh. Fair enough but he said he loved the sound of 325s yet 321s are better sounding than 319s? :|
class313 3 years ago
There all engines to me, but he must be an Electric fan. Im a fan of both to be honest, but prefer diesel locomotives.
Woolybak8 3 years ago
@Woolybak8 We will soon (if Liverpool-Manchester-Blackpool North Electrification plans go ahead!)

They are amazing units, and they also make the sound even when they are hauled! They did when the 87s and 47s hauled them!
