I've had good luck with my WJ and want to do a mild lift but am concerned that it might cause premature failure of drivetrain components. I've heard that the new angles, however slight will cause problems.
looks really good, but IMO i would get a different rim to push the tires outward. i think it looks better. i really like your Jeep, i plan on doing this with my 99 WJ. still getting ideas for lifts.
Thats really a good lookin Jeep wj madman. I'm glad i clicked on your video cause it just proved that i shouldnt put 265/75's on my GC w/out a lift. I was about to try it, but was lookin for someone who had done it. Im thinkin about a 2"lift, cause i dont do alot of off-roadin, (down here in Indy), but you guys get more weather up in Mich. Those Goodrich/TA,s are my favorite all-terr., expensive though. Also jus repl. my foggy lights w/those same ones-well worth it.
@MRthebestSKATER , I have given it some thought and yes it would look good. I had someone tell me that it puts additional stress on the front end parts, shafts and bearings. I have been looking at the different spacers out there and got a qoute from a off-road shop on some hub-centric style spacers.
@MrReiske It may be a little tight with the 2" and 32's. I was originally going with a 2" but decided to go with the 4". I do at full turn get a slight rub that I will be fixing when the weather warms up, nothing that a body hammer I hope. If you do go with a 2" go to this web site and check out their fender flares, I plan on going with them soon.
It's all going to depend on what you plan to do with your Jeep when your done and if you will have any clearance issues. Good luck and have fun.
