Am a ipod touch 4g freak okay.... You check ur wifi box that connect to ur pc right. You turn off the box give it like 20 min of rest..... The you conncet but do nice and good... Then turn the box. When u did that turn OFF YOUR IPOD TOUCH. then turn it back on. And try to connct. Also i see you have jailbreak your ipod touch. If u need more help send me a message

You should go into your wifi settings on your iPod then forget the network than tap on your network and enter your password and that might help. Or you could try rebooting your router

Your iPod should be finding Router, and DNS when you touch the blue arrow. If your iPod can't find it, try rebooting your wifi. :)

That used to happen to me so what you want to do is go to settings then wifi go to where your name Is and press that arrow thing u pressed then press "forget this network" or something like that and then try to get in again

Just make sure the ethernet cable is connected to the router. What you have there is how strong the router is wirelessly connected to you ipod touch. No internet. The internet works when the ethernet is connected. Got it?

when you go to wifi and you see your connection name is douglass, right next to it, you have a lock. so you have to push it again and it will ask you for a password. and then the password is the number on your router that is in brackets. and you type that in on the ipod touch. and then you should be able to get internet access. hope this works. it worked for mine anyway:p

yeah i have the same issue, i looked into it and found out that it's all the routers fault. i guess if you have a lot of things connected to the router such as computers, TVs, or other iPod. the router can only handle so many IP addresses at once, so if you cut back on the amount of things plugged in and you reset the router and connect with the iPod, you should be good to go.

you need to check your router. at 0:43 the section that says router is blank, you need to renew your release so that there is some type of number code. if renewing your release doesnt work, then try resetting your router. if that doesnt work the you may need to buy a new router. :p if that doesnt work, then buy a new ipod. :D thumbs up so people can get some help!

The default password for a lot of wifi connections is usually admin. I type in in and it says i'm connected to wifi and everything, but it never works. I still can't get on Safari or anything. I went back to Best Buy today to exchange it for another cuz i thought it might have been defective. Cuz i went around my neighborhood & got into a bunch of networks using the password admin but i still am neveer able to get on the internet. I even tried reseting network status & turning it on & off. Help!

Try disconnecting your router, plug it again, disconnect the ethernet etc. Unplug it and plug it again. It also happens to me and it always work

Your ip should be 192.168.1.xxx - The router lost touch with yur Ipod.

Solution.....Power off the ipod ( top ) and the connection will be reestablished

There is nothing wrong with your ipod touch, you just reconfigure your router settings. if your home router is configured using AOSS security lock, you unlikely will not be able to connect on the internet. So disable/uninstall the AOSS on your PC, and go with your router manual to setup your wireless using a WEP security... hope this helps.. if not sorry...

That happened to me before. It's because the password is similar to the real password. So basically you entered a password that is wrong. You should forget the network, double check the wifi password, enter it, and it should work perfectly fine. Hope you subscribe and comment on my channel :D

mine did the same thing . you have to plug it in to your computer when itunes pops up go to the devices category and click on your ipod name then right under update click on restore and your ipod should start working let me know if it helps
