  • i would have installed the cut outs just after the headers so it actually makes some performance...

  • NA cars actually need some back pressure

  • shows what you know about sbc. If you knew how a cut out worked you'd know they are installed closer to the headers to allow the exhaust gas out faster, thus allowing more air in. Having Headers increases your back pressure. all this person did was block off two exhaust tips...

  • lol i know how cut outs work, i just forgot that modern fuel injection systems don't need back pressure...

  • The correct term you are looking for is Scavange.

And it doesn't nessesarily need it, but the more scavange there is, the more low end torque you make. The less scavanging there is, the more high end power you make. Too much is bad, and too little is bad as well. One of the best tuned headers will produce maximum scavenge when the intake manifold reaches 0 psi vacuum (ideally). That way you maximize peak torque and after that help high end horsepower.

I just hit you with some knowledge.

  • Bam!

    You sure hit him good.

  • horshepower??

  • I'm startin to get the feeling that you guys just chill all day?

  • love the car, love the sound!

  • did you do this by using kook's new electric throttle body? If I remember correctly, you can program it to open at certain rpms...

  • HAHAHAHAH....Emirates MALLLL....WALLAH AYAAAAM YA5I !!
