I named the band Paramore for the Paramour Mansion recording studios after I wrote Decode and hearing the Farris Bros of INXS talking about holding the RockStar show there. The stagename for J.D. Fortune came from J.D. Salinger and the stagename Flame Fortune for the wannabe singer Michael Hutchence was trying to promote in the '80s. I met INXS in '83 at the age of 15 and started writing songs for them and many other bands, including Evanescence and Kings of Leon.

@Louisiannnahelloo I was talking about Tim, Andrew and Jon Farris of the Australian band INXS who filmed RockStar INXS at Paramour Mansion recording studios. The decision to do this is dated back to 1996 when Michael Hutchence, the lead singer of INXS, decided to bail on the band. It was their mentioning of Paramour recording studio which inspired me to name the band Paramore after I wrote the song Decode. The Farro brothers used a variation of the Farris Brothers name as a stagename.
