@619Dynamite Well, without playing GH1 it's hard to tell how much different it is than GH3. I play Expert on both and I must say GH1 can be much harder(though there are few songs that are.. This is definitely not one of them). It's not as fast, but you have to be muuuch more accurate, especially with hammer-ons.

We take for example a hammer-on sequence from green to yellow. In GH1 You had to hold down the green, keep holding green as you hammer on red, and keep those 2 down while you hammer on yellow. In GH2 You can just strum the green and push the red and yellow in sequence without having to hold any of them down (though it's still an available option to do so).

I think so. I only talk by what I've heard (don't have the game). It was supposed to simulate real guitar but it was a bit too hard for casual playing I guess. So they changed it. If I had the game I think I would try to just strum all notes XD
