  • Fat Terrorist... LOL

  • hehehe @3:23 that is called flinch-a-titus.

  • dang you got some good eyes there..., open sight with a shotgun still hitting the target at 230 yds

  • Love the close up footage. Ssssssssssssthpppp!

  • I really hate slow DSL days when my Hickok45 video stops so an Obama ad can load. Sigh.....

  • aww...i wanted to see how the range looked like from the other side

  • that was pretty cool. Great video and shooting!! off to the store to by some slugs hahaha

  • Amazing to say the least, I will definitely be practicing firing slugs from my Mossberg 500 because of you, lol, awesome video!!!!

  • Hickock, FPSRussia, and R. Lee Ermey need to meet up and shoot, I'd love to see that. The level of awesome would be off the charts.

  • If you had a scope on that thing it would have really torn it up...

  • how longs the barrel?

  • I don't know why but I started laughing really hard when he said "fat terrorist". I love shotguns and especially slugs, load my own, so I just loved this vid!

  • Man that slug is still hitting with a lot of force

  • Can you do a video on the different shotgun sights?

  • Hate the glocks thou

  • @hickok

One those worthless 1911s? the 1911 is prolly the best pistol EVER made Hi-Point pistols started out being terrible now there okay but still need alot of work

  • @bigwilzz He's kidding. lol His sense of humor is such that you don't realize he's joking unless you watch a lot of his videos. In fact, he loves 1911s and puts them up near the top of his favorite handguns list along with Glocks. Hi Points are, last I checked, being bought by the US Navy and Marines to replace the M9.

  • @hp2114b well said.

  • wow your a great shot! I doubt I could it anything that far away with my 30-30 bolt action rifle!

  • my smoothbore can hit stuff that far...if hickok is shooting it :)

  • hichkok, great vids. 2 questions hope you can answer. what would you expect for accuracy with a 14" barrel length shotgun? second question, how much do you love those ear muffs?

  • can you try that with the mossberg 590 please? i bet you would do much better with tht shot gun

  • @killeas300 I was wondering the same thing, did you get an anwer?

  • I am amazed, I wonder if a 20 gauge or 410 would do as well, probably not but who knows.

  • wow!!! talk bout penetration at that distance!! man!!!! hear hear shotgun slugsss!!

  • I attemped this myself at 190 yards with a "smallish" paper target...1/5 hit

  • hmm thats interesting.. i've always aimed high at long range... i think ill have to learn my gun a little better and try to raise that front sight up enough, until it sticks up higher than the rear sight.. i can now see how that will help you dial in those long shots.. knowing how high to bring up that front sight that is... guess you learn somethin every day

  • The reason why there is why on the ground is because Hickok shot the sky down.

  • loughed my ass of when you icked that chicken HAHA

  • how many yards out could you shoot a tight enough group for deer hunting with iron sights and rifled barrel

  • @liv4daoutdoors Go to a range and find out.. its different for everybody If you can hit a pie plate consistently then your good to go for deer at that range... Me personally am comfortable at 100 yards shooting a deer with irons

  • where can i get them will they work safely in any shot gun

  • @hp2114b quit hating

  • 6:24 Hickok45 demonstrates his Karate skills.

  • I've heard of tabletop games, but this is ridiculous. On a side note, do you also make your own fingerholes for bowling balls? lol

  • Superb shooting & accuracy!

  • Hickok should meet Lee Ermey. My life would be complete.

  • @ichewtoast111, Yeah, I've met him briefly at the NRA Convention, but I agree with you in part. MY life might be complete if I could meet him and shoot some with him. That would be cool. If he were coming to the Compound, I'd have to round up five or six Hi-Point pistols ahead of time so that I could try to convince him when he arrived that these were WAY better than those old worthless 1911s or Glocks he likes. :-)

  • @hickok45 You might find yourself in a world of shit if you do that sir =)

  • @hickok45 hahaha thoes things are uglyer than nutinfancys duracoat jobs.

  • @hickok45 Lol a video of you and R Lee Ermey shooting together would be super entertaining

Maybe you could guest star an episode of Locked N' Loaded LOL

  • @hickok45 Could you try repeating this with one of your Hi-Points? I'd like to see that. I'd bet you can do it, too....;)

  • Comment removed

  • @79Testo, I agree; people need to be totally controlled and not trusted. :-)

  • @hickok45 The best thing about your videos (Apart from the actual video itself) is watching you totally brake the trolls in the comment section! :D

  • @hickok45

There's no such thing as trust.

  • @79Testo yes cause that works so well in Britain...

  • @Leckrovov

You can't own a gun in Australia, is England like that too?

I hear its rough to live in England, there's A LOT OF don't dos!

  • @79Testo england is the same and to the rest of youre comment do you want to try again in english please..

  • @hickok45 trolololol hahaha

  • How about a 22lr or a 45acp at 230 yards? That would take some skill, well the 22 wouldent be so hard but the 45 mite be?

  • I swear the first 2 hit the same hole.

  • I would have never bet money that a slug could reach that far with a fair amount of accuracy. Great shooting!

  • This is very impressive. Great shooting hickok!! :)

  • @hp2114b Honestly, I wouldn't mind watching some of FPSRussia's videos, if he didn't have the fucking retarded fake accent. He seems to know what he's talking about, and some of it is entertaining. Although I can't argue with preferring hickok45.

  • @hp2114b I absoutely agree with with you! Hey, how do you unsubscirbe to a channel? ;)

  • Don't slugs have grooves to give it a spin?

  • @MDM781 The grooves on a smoothbore slug don't really impart spin, so much as they impart the impression of spin in the mind of the shooter. They're the ballistic equivalent of racing stripes.

  • @hp2114b lol you clearly have little experience shooting them

  • @airjmc87 Little experience shooting what?

  • @hp2114b rifled slugs

  • @airjmc87 Because I said the grooves on them don't impart spin? It's a fact, look it up.

  • wow, great vid

  • @hp2114b you have expressed my feelings towards him perfectly. Thank you

  • Nice!

  • thats some great shooting

  • Kind of want to take my shotgun out to see what kind of distance I could hit. I have a mossberg 500 with a rifled barrel, open sights.

    very envious of your range.

anyone have any idea what kind of speed that slug would have at that distance? and how much drop it would have?

  • Comment removed

  • Just think in most countries its illeagal to have this much fun. Your right "life is good" in the USA.

  • @45bloo Ya if your fucking neighbors arent a bunch of assholes and you have 3 grand in guns and only get to use them twice a month.

  • There's that chicken I can never hit.... *kicks chicken in the face*

  • haha When you were walking by those targets I thought it would be funny if you kicked one down. And then you did. NICE AIM haha

  • Obama watched this video 4 times.

  • i'm curious to find out how much worse a non-rifled slug would perform over such distance out of a smoothbore?

this was great btw, thank you.

  • Comment removed

  • Hickok, after watching this video a while back you inspired me to drag out my pump shotgun, purchase a slug friendly choke tube, and do some practicing for deer season. Its been alot of fun. Thanks!

  • @hp2114b Amen.

  • Laying out slugs out of a Winchester 1300 Ranger Is orgasmic

  • Thanks for the great and extremely interesting and more importantly, informative video in HD to boot (absent a scope!). I always figured 100 yards max for my shotguns (I'm sure velocity suffers >100 yards, but I a quite certain it would drop a perp).

    -Cheers

  • wow looks like drilled holes. so perfect round.

  • This guy's awesome! why doesnt he have more views!?

  • @videocritic8888 Because the average YouTuber doesn't have the adequate attention span, especially when FPSRussia does the big explosions. FPS is a crowd pleaser, while Hickok is not.

  • @evildude109 how about the average outdoors man

  • I think I'll try this when I shoot my 1100 again, it has rifle sights on it.

  • What kind of recoil pad are you running? I just got a Beretta 1201fp {benelli m1 for all intents and purposes} i find it truly punishing to shoot. Standard stock, not tactical PG. Could you recommend a good recoil pad that fits the m1/m2

  • this guy is a bro-pop

  • I have a question for the uploader- What happens if you shoot slugs out of a full choke or something like that?

Or can you shoot slugs out of any choke?

  • YES QUIGGLY!!!! from down under

  • He hickok I was looking for slugs and I see you.

  • 4 Fat terrorist watched this video.

  • There's that chicken i can never hit! Lol, great shooting

  • Most impressive.

  • Hey, Hickok. I love your videos and appreciate the lesson.

    Peace, wilkbor.

  • "If that was a fat terrorist, most of those woulda hit 'im!" Awesome shooting :)

  • The cool thing about this video is that you can see the air being distorted by the slugs as they fly to the target.

  • Hickock, I have watched tons of your videos, I know your a great shot and likely know a great deal more about firearms than i do, however I think you need to re-evaluate the rifled slug barrel. You will be suprised how much more accurate it is at long ranged than a smoothbore shotgun. With a sabot style slug you can shoot very small groups at 200 yds. Give it a try sometime, borrow one from someone in your area and do a video on it, i bet you change your mind..

  • can hickock make this shot with his sawed-off 500? I think so!

  • Nicely done! Do you think a 20 gauge could do something similar?

  • Don't think I could group like that with a scoped 30.06

  • you hit the drum twice in the same spot

  • lmao fat terrorists! Love this guy!

  • Holy crap! Ha ha Hickok is a beast! I'm getting a HD shotty soon and I watched this vid and the one like mine (soon) with a mossy 590. Slugs FTW!

  • @hickok45 I have a idea for you take ur glock 26 and line up 12 pop cans and with one shot shoot all of them. And also take a shot gun with 00 buckshot and blow up a whole 24 pack of coke that would be awesome.

  • mr 45, you could lay down more than just "harassing" fire with that shotgun at that distance, you could do some serious damage

  • @hickok45 im just curious:P how many guns do you have?

  • Funny to watch the picture blure when the shot is taken:P powerfull :D

  • Were they Sabot or Rifled slugs?

  • @kumadog286 rifled

  • English is not my mother language, and I understood that this gun shoots "sluts" Oo

  • @Knarta well if you know a little english and read the title "Shotgun Slugs at 230 Yards". a lot of times people can't fully hear the word, and like you, fill it in with what you know. just letting ya know to use words around the comments or the title or description before thinking about "sluts" lol

  • @hilers72652 I perfectly knew what it means, but I thought it was throwing out bitches :P

  • @Knarta we it can certainly take them out XD

  • you can see the slug fly at 4:14

  • Nice video. I did not think that a smooth bore shotgun could be that accurate from that far away.

  • What kind of glasses are they? Red dot? Tell me where to get them!

  • hah them slugs would blow away any fat terrorist in a jiffy.

  • Loving the camera setup down range. Hope to see it more in your future long range videos.

  • I am assuming you took the plug out of your shotgun for the fact you put more than three in the gun.

  • Kinda makes me wonder if its possible to customize a shotgun to have a longer barrel than usual for long distance shooting :3

  • @adfgfds A man I knew had a buddy in the Yukon who hunted geese. There isn't much cover there, so they used 50" barrels on their shotguns to take the birds at 150-200 yards.

  • @TheBattleSCAR 50 inches? hmmm sounds like a tall tale to me, 34" is the longest I've heard of and those are really long! (Perazzi HPX) but 50" barrels and 200 yard geese with a shotgun? not so sure about that... :)

  • @danebrewer10 Have you ever been to northern Canada? You would be surprised the shit they jerry rigged up there, because they needed it.

  • @TheBattleSCAR I'd love to know who makes 50" barrels, I bet they'd weigh a ton, and be about as quick pointing as a sumo wrestler on a unicycle. so perhaps the physics of a 50" barrel work, but barrel length has nothing to do with pattern density, and only up to a point helps with velocity, too long and it actually slows the bullet or cartridge, but 200yd with a shotgun? even an 8 bore with 2oz of shot would be stretching it, IMHO, not responsible shooting, but then again, I haven't been there

  • @danebrewer10 Quite a few excellent gunsmiths up there. I would suppose that they would use the largest shell they could find, and the barrel would help to dampen the recoil a bit. I can't say the story is entirely true, but it did come from a man who I know has hunted up there, and it is pretty hard not to believe the guy based on the experiences he has had.

  • You should get an ATV to better get around your property.

  • Those impact shots are incredible! thanks for putting that nice camera in the firing line for us.

  • How high were u aiming?

  • Well done. Great video too! I used to shoot my Browning Buck Special @ 200 yards and surprised my friends at how accurate Fosters could be.

  • hey next time you need to drill a hole a countertop grab the ol' shotgun huh

  • Sir,you don't need to brag, you're shooting speaks for itself.

  • cor, you can really hear that huge hunk of lead splitting the air there!

  • I really enjoy how you transition from the one camera feed to the next and then back to the original camera. Really good shooting too. I have been looking for a new shotgun. I have an old Stevens 520 that was passed down to me. 28" barrel, it feels like an anti-aircraft cannon. HA. God bless, you.

  • Great shooting.

  • notice the sound gets there barely before the slug... cool

  • 5:14 is an amazing camera shot

  • How do you measure your long range distances?

  • Awesome video !!!

  • Bet all fat terrorists are really worried now.

    Thanks for these videos Hickok45.

Living in England I could get arrested for carrying a penknife so I'll never get the opportunity to use firearms.

  • Nice shot Hick. My friend nailed a metal plate out 300 yds with his Ruger Redhawk .44 mag using open sights. Probably the most impressive shot I've seen in real life.

  • Thank you for the discussion of your chosen open sight picture. That concluded a wonderful example with some practical insight.

  • @4dailyrunner I agree. It was also the first time I really gave pause and thought ''Taller sights make for easyer 'range finding' soto speak. Ive seen some guns with big sights and thought it was stupid (at the time) now I'll think again. The more you know eh? hehe.

  • the nervous 'this is fun' comments throughout had me cracking up - nice shooting, impressive : )

    -mack

  • Another great vid... keep up the good work and shootin' !

  • old jerk shot gun

  • Well Hickok you've just disproved an old myth of why people don't use a shotgun to hunt big game. As I surely viewed you shoot a smooth bored shotgun at a target 230 yards away with only rifle sights and hit it is proof in the pudding. I'm impressed and if anyone ever says that a shotgun isn't capable of making a long shot then i'm gonna send them your way and tell them they just don't know how to shoot it. Great video.

  • I just picked up a mossy 500 20 gauge and rebuilt it a little .. put an extended stock with pistol grip on it .. ghost ring sights composite forend with vertical grip replaced the stock 22 inch barrel with an 18 inch Accu choke .. and put a Troy Industries serated muzzle brake for ramming people when i run out of ammo haha .. i like it changing from wood to composite drastically decreased the weight .. along with changing the barrel ..

  • Yeah, The first time I shot rifled slugs out of my Remington 1100 at 50 yards I was shocked at how accurate it was. I was easily getting 2" groups with a red dot sight at 50yards. I would never have thought to go longer with it though. Very cool.

  • "If that was a fat terrorist, I woulda hit 'em" Ha!

  • very nice !!!

  • nice shooting, you should be on TOP SHOT.

  • that table gonna go on ebay?

  • Comment removed

  • Great shooting. Thanks for the demonstration of slugs at 230 yards. I like how you included a 2nd camera view. I'd like to see more of that. Zombies - beware!

  • You read my mind hickok,a tutorial! I was thinking the whole video "I wish he would tell me his aiming point".Thank's for all the great vid's & for turning me on to -tnoutdoors9- it is great seeing what the firearm's are capable of.BKF... +

  • very nice.

  • How far away is the 230 yard gong?

  • @762BR hmmmm, probably about 690 ft.

  • @762BR I don't know but do you know the number for 911

  • good vid hickok.can you try to shoot some 12inch cament blocks.thanks.

  • Comment removed

  • A marksman...with a shotgun.

    Respect.

  • As a shotgun lover, I have to say this is my favorite video. Finally something for all the skeptics... Anyway, any thoughts on sabot slugs, have you tried shooting any?? Do you think they would iron out the trajectory a little bit out of the smoothbore? Keep up the good work, love your vids. Greetings from Croatia

  • very nice shooting, i love how u cut in the footage from the 2nd cam

  • "if that was a fat terrorist...." HAHAHAHAHAH

  • Man you my slug shooting skills to shame

  • I never whould have thought plain ole slugs would be so repeatable. Nice shooting.

  • Those slugs are still carrying a lot engery at 230 yards. You can see the drum move a few times as the slugs went through the desk into and probably out of the drum. The holes in the desk top almost looked like they were drilled...well I guess so, with slugs. Very nice group. Great Vid!

  • great shoot you hit the same hole twice 1.40 1.49

  • Thank you for "KILLING" all doubt about a slug doing some long range defense.

Like maybe a few here i thought that 110 yards at MOST a slug would be good for but you have proven that not the case...please keep up the awesome video`s..

  • man you nailed it on the first. fat terrorist or no, those were mostly kill hits. nice!
