Those violins are hella haunting. Love is an incredible album. I wish that all albums transitioned so beautifully from song to song. You literally cannot tell when one track ends and the last begins. I would recommend this album to ANYONE. I can't even guess how many times I've played it from beginning to end while driving. (Tomorrow Never Knows to Lucy in the Sky is incredible. Crank that bass!)

This strings arrangement really goes to show that George Martin *is* the 5th Beatle. Although all 4 Beatles play on the Let It Be album/Free as a Bird/Real Love, they don't have that "complete" Beatle feel. This, however, does. Only the 2 George's, but this, my friends, has the full essence of the Beatles.

For everyone who says they like this better than the original, this kinda IS the original. This is how George Harrison first intended it to be, except with the strings played by organ. They later decided to use electric guitars and drums because they needed more diversity in the sound with the album.

@TrueMangaAnimeLover The White Album was diverse enough, but this song by far on the White Album marks one of the best guitar solos on a Beatles album, they're both nice, but this version with the strings can be accepted by a larger audience than the one with Eric Clapton, the one on the White Album can sound a little weird for some people.

@TrueMangaAnimeLover actually it was really just a demo, it was always intended to have more parts, George had tried many different takes but felt the rest of the band weren't taking the song seriously so Harrison asked Eric Clapton to add lead guitar solo to the song. Clapton was reluctant at first but Harrison convinced him and Clapton's solo was recorded that evening, my source of this information.. one wiki page and Harrison himself in the documentary 'Living in the Material World'
