Hey, tried it for the first time today on my hair and my daughters hair. My hair being more of a 4b worked really well. Wow so easy to comb out and iron out (and my hair does not have a perm or relaxer). My daughters hair (3c/4a). I am doing a braid out with her so we will see tomorrow morning. It was easy as heck to comb out and no tingle, tangles!!! Yeah I will use it again, but may switch to the shea butter one due to the protiens (glad she mentioned that). Thanks for the video!
How is that working out for you because I did a big big chop this past Feb and since then I have no idea what will help with my hair growing back because I've always had just a bit past my shoulder length hair but due to both chemical and color damage causing serious breakage and drying I just decided to cut it all and start over...It's 3inches all over now but very dry.
@LuiTayMello Have you ever tried Elasta Qp Olive oil and mango butter moisterizer its works great and as far as shampoos and conditioners Herbal essences long term relationship shampoo and conditioner & Organix smoothing shea butter shampoo and conditioner is great and very moisterizing, leave ins that work great is Elasta Qp H2 and also Aphogee pro vitamin and Herbal essences long term relationship split end leave in conditioner. I hope this helps.
I absolutely love this product my hair was over moisturized and it kept shedding, and it felt weak when I washed it, & felt gummy. So I bought the organics nourshing coconut milk and shampoo, and washed my hair, and instantly my hair felt better, and it stopped the shedding. It was alot stronger, and there was no shedding. I am learning about my natural hair, and what it needs. I can now tell if it is over moisturized it's gummy & if it has too much protein it's dry. So now I have a balance.
Well I used this product and I can say if your hair doesn't like protein don't use it. My hair doesn't get along with protein well and when I used this product it made my hair very very dry. Only if your hair loves protein this product will probably work for you.
Thanks for the product review. Publix has this for 4.99, now until about 2 july 10. I only bought the conditioner, I might try the shampoo later since the sale is for a couple of weeks. I hope that it works for my hair and not against.
I just purchased both at Wal-mart today. Have yet to try it, but I hear it works wonders. I wasn't even looking for it because I never thought wal mart would have it and I was standing right in front of it and I was like, thats a sign..I'm getting it! LOL
I never even heard of this until you and another girl on YOUTUBE spoke about it. Anyway, I was at beauty supply store 3 weeks ago. Bought some sort of moisturizer and it RUINED my hair. So I went to RiteAid yesterday and this morning. This product today ORGANIX is on sale at RiteAid Buy 1 Get 1 free $6.99 plus tax 13oz. Anyway I bought 4 yesterday and 6 today Cocounut, TEATREE, and Pomegranite. Anyway, today 4/27/2010 so if you have not tried today it is on sale get rain check if they are out.
I just bought some of this yesterday (the shampoo) and I could definitely feel the difference in my hair compared to other shampoos...it was a soooooo much softer.
Aww I'm mad! I just bought shea butter shampoo and I'm hearing bad things about it, but good things about the coconut shampoo. Maybe I should exchange it?
Thank you for the good tips, I have the shampoo and it is amazing Organix is very good and has helped my hair grow faster than usual but I have to say that I disagree with you on the price of the products. that is just expensive. but overall the product just works.
I heard you can purchase Coconut Milk by Organix at your local drugstore, supermarket, etc, etc. Is that true? I can't wait! I've grown so weary of buying shampoos from the internet and health food store. The products purchased from the internet eat away at my pockets while the health food brands usually cause an allergic reaction.
Can you uses these like 3 times a week. like every other day. I don't use any other protein base products, Just vo5 conditioners. I have the shea butter shampoo and conditioner the tea tree oil conditioner and the vanilla shampoo well thats all gone.
I'm hearing good things about this! Will give it a try. I 2 of tried the other ones in the line... the shea butter one... and the peppermint one.... didn't really like those. But since i'm hearing all the buzz about the coconut one, i will give it a shot!
I just purchased the shampoo and it smells like i want to eat it. Oh I cant wait to use it. I have relaxed hair and needs tons on protein and moisture
I rotate between these two Coconut Milk products, Cream of Nature moisturizing formula shampoo (It is so full of lipids that you don't need to condition afterward), and Proline Olive Oil shampoo and conditioner. I rotate between them because I find that if I use any one of them too long, my hair starts feeling too spongy. Coconut Milk also has an anti-breakage formula that is shonuff the truth! I mix it with shea butter for twist and braids. The result is glistening, soft, lasting fabulosity!
the coconut milk condish is the truth! i recently began using it at a leave in, i love it! I did a shake and go with it a couple weeks ago and it defines my curls like none other! ive also used it to co wash once. also very good as a wash out conditioner.
i bought it as i heard that coconut oil is very good for your hair. indian women are known for using it. how often should i use it? i have curly hair!
tried it and my hair loved it. it strengthened and moisturized my hair. i will definitely use this again. this will probably be the one of few unnatural products that will remain in my regimen for now.
i just bought the conditioner at rite aid. Odd, they only sold the conditioner but i was planning to do a co wash once i take my braid extensions out anyway.
Yayayay! I'm glad you made this video because I was about to go out and buy pureology products and bumble&bumble but they are a bit pricey. I've seen these products before in walmart and was looking for reviews. This one caught my eye and i liked it! So.. i only have a question though, does it help with fine/thin hair? My hair is fine and i would like for it to have some volume to it. :)
i use this and i like it, the shampoo and conditioner together really work great but for just for co-washing it the hair comes out a bit different. Some people think it's drying, but a little bit of olive oil with it could change that.
i really appreciate your product reviews, i wull try it cuz this is the 2nd time i heard someone refer this shamppo/conditioner, thanks for tellin me that u can get it locally cuz i was not sure if u had to order it. i see u buy alot of products which butter creme or moisturizing hairdress do u suggest? thanks again!
