- Best monsters in the game (a little more than Mordor)

- Best elite's units (Half-troll pikemen, Fire dragon and Goblin Spider riders)

Weak points:

- Very unbalanced team (good elites units, very weak the other. They don't have decent swordsmen and archers, for example, and their cavalry/pikemen cost a lot)

I have found where to put your costum maps. AppData/Roaming/The Battle For Middle Earth Maps.  but "AppData" is a hidden file. You ll have to search for AppData. (Windows Vista).

i like to use "untamed allience" on wild goblin lairs to create huge hordes out of little resource

swarm the enemy to weaken then crush them with a full horde of goblins to act as damage buffers, trolls to smash, giants to attack the enemy castle while my dragon lord burns their resourses

The best stratagy with any faction is use calvary and scan the map for gollum. Get the ring and the ring hero. Then walk into there base and boom you win.

@GonnaBeALongLongTime but when you get the ring to your fortress it costs 10000 resources to recruit galadriel/sauron and by the time you get that many resources your opponent could be raiding your base.

Even though Goblins are pretty much the weakest faction in the game...They become the most deadliest with their numbers,Goblins and Dwarves are my favorite factions and what i love about the goblins are is the fact their units are cheap and they are the best for numbers...Having a humongous army of them makes you deadly and they conquer shit easily...Plus their Heroes are awesome as well.I've won a lot of games as goblins by taking advantage of their awesome numbers.

my strategy (vs. easy) is creating 2 warriors and an archer, a treasure thingy for upgrades, and scattered tuneels, later on build a fissure and create 2 units of half giants, and thats that, i win the game :)

Personally I like to use goblin warriors to storm the walls to busy/kill any archers with spider riders not far behind to mop up any survivors while dragoth kills any pikemen or cavalery who would kill either my warrior horde or spider units. I started using this technique when I realized I was heavily reliant on Mountain Giants, who are ridiciously over powered to make up for the lack of siege equipment. Though requires alot of frantic micromaniging and many bookmarks.

@flyndrefitte I guess you're referring to the unit symbols on the ground. You have to hold the left and the right mouse button and then you can move your mouse to shape the formation. An advantage of this is that all units walk at the speed of the slowest unit, so you don't always have to look at the cavalry.

??? I try to defeat a brutal dwarf enemy. I start off by building 2 goblin caves, then some mines. I rush their base with my goblin warriors asap but they get the fucking shit kicked out of them. I manage to make more caves and even try to set it up were I use tunnel systems to quickly get the goblins into the base... No use they just destroy my tunnels. Rape any goblins that come out and destroy my base...

This is not Rise of the Witch King and yes there are elves in the game. Everyone's a noob once, there's nothing to be ashamed of there. This game doesn't really have a steep learning curve anyway.

When I play (medium difficulty) I start of making a barracks and recourse trees, I start making soldiers, I have about 3 or so, then I make walls, but as soon as I make walls I get attacked (like 3-5 minutes in) If I fend them off I start putting arrow towers on the walls and around them, but then I get attacked like 20 seconds later, and it keeps happening again and again, how the fuck do I stop them attacking? Or at least only every 10 minutes or so, I try to attack but they kill all my guys.

My favourite army are the Elves... I usually get a huge army of archers backed up by cavalry to launch a siege on the enemy base. I like using Goblins and Orcs but they''re terrible at self-defence.

I reckon that goblins aren't exactly weak, but all they can do is mass hordes and speed attacks. The key, (in my opinion) is building an extremely defendable city and wait and amass archers other defense oriented troops, never get "luxourious" your playing goblins here, they can spam 100's at your gates while yout building some crap on the other side of the map. Defend and repair and as soon as you feel ready counter attack like you mean it!

ok you increase command points by building farms or mallorn trees or tunnels or furnaces or slaughter houses or mines and eventually you get to a point where you cant increase cps anymore so you have to build another fortress thats rare though. watch your cp factor to everythibng is affected by that. and don't rip off cds thats illegal and its an asshole thing to do and it will just give you a virus.

True but the cheaper the hero the weaker they are. A standed hero without any skills will cost 500 but can still take a fair amount of damage with the appropiate upgrades(Maxing out defence and hitpoints). However something like a "Mega Wizard" will set you back atleast 4000 which only Drogth, The Witchking and the ring heros will ever have a chance of being more.
