Absoutely fantastic song and tribute to those 9 fire fighters who perished in that fire! I was moved by this song the first time I heard it on the credits of the film Frequency and will always when I hear it! God bless to all the familys that suffered that day!
They'll live forever in the hearts of all of us. When we hear of such tragedies there is no distinction or difference.. we are all human beings on this Planet. In a word .. brothers and sisters. Never forget that.
From Italy a close and sincere hug to all the families of the victims
I believe the firefighters and the man who fight the war are one of the bravest people in the world. I've great respect for them, I remember when my family experience one of our states worse bush fire calling it the Black Saturday, the shear heat struck fear into our hearts...so imagine what our firefighters feel, so much courage and bravery. Bless them :) Bless the men who fight for humanity.
Thank You Very Much for making this video. it Realy hits home for me,because i Am a volunteer fire fighter. my prayers go out to the 9 fire fighters families.
This song makes me think of my boyfriend....he's 14, but he tells me that when he's 18, he wants to go to war...I lied and told him I was okay with him doing so, but inside, I was begging him not to....baby...if you ever read this...I want you to stay....even if we don't last to the day you leave...I can't stand the thought of you hurt. I love you, and I hope you see, someday, how much I mean that.
Amen, my uncle passed away last year. He was a volunteer fire fighter for 55 years. He was the only person to be Chief of the Bay Shore, NY Fire Dept twice. When he passed away well over 300 fire fighters came to his memorial and funeral. The town also showed its appreciation to him. My family was very moved by the support and I met a number of firemen who appreciated my uncle. I say God Bless all Fire Fighters, Police Officers and Armed Forces members where ever you are.
Beautiful video... I came looking for the song and I loved the tribute you have created... Bless them.. when everyone is running out..they are the few who run in...
I think that firefighting/paramedics is one of the most honorable professions in the world. So often I read/hear about police officers, teachers, clergy and politicians getting into some kind of legal trouble - I rarely read/hear those kinds of stories about firefighters. I wish I knew how to send a hug (through the internet) to the families of these brave men who gave their lives. I just read the story.
the day of the fire i don't think that i will ever be able to forget for the fact of one of my sister's close friends is a firefighter that was there that night and they thought that they had lost him but he finally showed up and two of the firefighters that were lost my mom knew growing up
There's a moment, that we all come to, in our own time, and our own space, for all that we've done we can undo, if our hearts in love like this, (Repeat On A Prayer) And again I see, my yesterdays in front of me, unfolding like a mystery, You're changing all that is and used to be...(repeat On A Prayer) When You Come Back To Me A..Gain"
"There's a ship out, on the ocean, at the mercy of the sea, it's been tossed about, lost and broken, wandering aimlessly, and God somehow you know that ship is me, There's a lighthouse, in the harbor, shining faithfully, pouring its light out, on the ocean, for this sinking soul to see, that someone out there still believes in me..., On a prayer, in a song, I hear your voice, and it keeps me hanging on, oh, raining down against the wind, I'm reaching out, til we reach the circle's end, WYCBTMA"
I'd have to say that I liked the movie this song was originally recorded for, 1999's "Frequency." I think it's one of Jim Caviezel's best movies (Jim Caviezel played detective John Sullivan). I agree with the person who said this movie was underrated. This song was so fitting for the movie credits, because it summed up the premise of the movie. There's a part of the song where Garth says, "For all that we've done, we can undo..." I personally think this song cemented Garth's comeback. Agreed?
they played this song at my friends funeral in 07, she died from cancer. This makes me wish I could go back in time and see my brother. He was killed before I was born and I know about ahim, but he may not know me, and that just tears me up.
Lately, I've dreamed of one person that loved me so much he had to let me go, so I could live. Oh Lord, I pray that I could for only one moment undo what has been done just so I could have this man that I called "Daddy" back in my life if only for a time.
hey i just want to say this video reminds me of the firefighters that died on 911 my dad lost 27 firends he trained with that day thnx for the video :)
