@wilsvlog the KX is bounded to the FAT32 format of the SD cards which only allows a maximum filesize of 4GB (which is 30 minutes per file).

@asteriskTVee Yes it does work with that cards. And since the new Firmware update (version 1.02) you can also use the new SDXC cards with the Kx, which allows you using cards with 48 and 64 GB data storage capacity.

@asteriskTVee good question.. i don't have the Nikon D3100 but i find this camera less valuable then the higher class Nikons or Pentax cams. The D3100 is really small and really lightweight and it suffers from heavy rolling shutter distortion in videomode. And about the maximum clipsize in minutes of each file.. i'm not sure. I think it has the same filesize limitation of 4 GB per file aswell. But since it is saving the videos as stronger compressed H264 files, the recording time is higher.
