fantastic , i travelled up from suffolk to retford many times never had the time to get to worksop as had to be homeat a sensible time watching the endless type 5 traction when your a 12 year old train fanatic .the mgr traffic was probably boring for some but for me i loved it ,
Enjoyed this very much thank you. coming as I did from Worksop I spent may happy days trainspotting on Retford station in the late 50's/early 60/s. Water tower now sadly gone but the "wall" is still there it looked so much higher when you are 9 or 10! happy days indeed..
The 225's look MUCH better in Intercity livery.
