Iraq there were no legal grounds whatsoever for going in there, which is why the prosecution is currently being prepared to bring the Bush crime syndicate to justice.

Afghanistan: They harbored those who attacked and killed 3,000 of us. A group based in Afghanistan committed a criminal attack on the USA. Afghanistan chose not to arrest, extradite or act at all. We chose differently.
Iraq was a big mistake on our part. We do have legal grounds for the invasion (lifting the cease fire of 1991) but that doesn't make it right. We should have left Iraq alone and continued to pursue Al Qaeda into Pakistan if necessary.
