  • You must find strength????? WHAT?????

  • @tonieconomides

When we first started making the videos, the kids we were working with complained that it was "the same thing over and over again". So we mixed it up with various audio clips from my sample collection.

At the current time, we don't us so much other audio because it may distract from the fundamental purpose of the channel, which is to help people memorize the times table.

  • I moved around alot in my childhood, 5 different schools, Well I'm still in childhood, but I was never taught times tables not at any school! This helped loads thanks (Year 8 was a pain) Im 14 ;)

  • cool and boo

  • Awesome!~ xD

  • I learned this with kumon, and a bit faster, it's was all about repetition. I was kind of forced to learn it because it was SO BORING and I wanted to end fast. (btw, never end fast when doing kumon, it will make things harder)

  • @Thewaterofthepool LOL!!! i feel your pain i also was in that place i was in third grade when i entered i had math trouble you wont belive what they gave me they gave me a little packet with like eight pages i had to trace numbers!!!! no you tell me something about that!!! how stupid i was like okk i have trouble with math not with tracing numbers!!!

  • any number times 10 equal the number with a zero (0) added to the end of it. for example, 8 being that number times 10 = 8 with a zero behind it, making it 80.

    8 x 10 = 80...... (8 with the number 0 after it)

    More examples.

    9 x 10 = 90......(9 with the number 0 after it)

    10 x 10 = 100..(10 with the number 0 after it)

    11 x 10 = 110

    17 x 10 = 170

    17 x 100 = 1700 (17 with two zeros [00] after it because we are timing by 100 and not 10).

    17 x 1000 = 17000 (17 with three zeros [000] after it)

  • @musiklover2

As demonstrated above 10, 100, 1000, 10,000 are the easiest numbers to have times a number because being aware of the pattern we can calculate in our head what the answer is easily.

Say that number is a decimal, you just move the decimal 1 space for 10, 2 spaces for 100, three spaces for 1000 cause 1000 has three zeros in it so on n so forth.

    12.5 x 10 = 125

12.5 x 100 = 1250 (move two spaces since it's 100 and since there isn't two numbers after the decimal we add an extra 0.)

  • @musiklover2 To Much TALKING!!!!

  • @musiklover2 i learned that when i was in first grade

  • whats 8x10?? xD

  • ????I'm searchng cuz tomorrow is a mutiplication test.

  • ghetto sesame street lol XD

  • y watch when ur confused??? not that i am...

  • :D Hahaha I love these things 8D

  • this is really awsome,lol

  • coooooooool.

  • this helps me alot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the music makes me confuse

  • thats initials i believe i mispelled it or keyboard slipped lol.

  • initialing means like writing the inititials of your name, objects are counted in repeated amounts because its quicker to count in groups, than one object at a time.

math is made for counting stuff and making a map of inventory amounts using initials (numbers are another form of initialing).

  • ok now my head hurts.....

  • shorthand for longhand repeated addition, used to do inventory (COUNT STUFF).

    2x10=20 is shorthand for

    2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2=20

2x10=20 correctly pronounced two ADDED ten times equals twenty total.

if you learn how to correctly multiply YOU DONT NEED TO MEMORIZE YOUR TIMES TABLES.

its simple addition, not rocket science.

  • if your students are having a problem learning multiplication here is why

    x means ADDED not times

2x3 is correctly pronounced 2 added 3 times equals 6

your simply adding 2 three times and totaling it,

ie your adding the number on the left of the times sign

the number of times on the right.

STOP SAYING TIMES IN THE MIDDLE, it confuses students,

most dont realize multiplication = basic addition.

2x3=6 is shorthand or initialing designed to reduce writing time and space needed on paper.

  • What is the music to this? Its SOOOOOOOO good!

  • THANK U THANK U THANK U!!!!!

  • Awesome! This helped my daughter who loves music but hates math. Thank you so much :D

  • this messege is goin to everyone but to me cause i already gave you this messege so since i gave it to you you need to pass it on to your frinds and if you pass it on to all your frinds after typ the word done and the person who has a crush on you will apear on the screen but only if you pass it on.
