Also, since it's the holiday season....my family and I loved the X-mas specials. They would have a bluegrass band perform & reminisce old huntn/fishin stories. One of my fav songs the bluegrass band would play while everyone sat by the fire singing along w/ the chorus..."X-Mas Times a Commin"

Love it Love it Love it Love it!!!!!!!! I grew up watching this show in Bon Aqua Tenn. Now if you ever heard of some Bon Aqua then you are a full-blooded Tennessee'n. I live in IN now....I can remember they would show pics of game by viewers from around TN. I remember the first rabbit I shot when I was 8 & sent the pic into the show. Lookin back that was silly....they would show these beautiful majestic bucks and huge trophy bass. Needless to say, I failed in my efforts but what a GREAT memory!

This was one of my dad's favorite shows, when I was growing up! He watched it every week in Franklin, TN, when I was a kid while polishing his army boots. It's a good memory of him here to watch on Father's Day. Thanks so much for putting up! And it's nice to know that your dad was Glenn Smith. Do you know the name of the theme song? I'd like to hunt it down or learn to play it some day.

YEAH!! Thanks for this! I was on this show when I was around 8 years old! I was at a field trial with my dad when Jimmy Holt and the crew came to film. I had brought a box turtle with me, a temporary "pet", and Jimmy interviewed me about it. He asked me how I had found the turtle, and my dad was so embarrassed when I revealed his hunting dog had pointed it.
