The subject matter, awesome as always, Rick's a damn genius, but seriously well done to the video team, you can tell there's all manner of awkward angles, obstacles, and editing nightmares for these videos, and the quality just keeps getting better with each Haas video. Nice job folks :)
Those Haas machines have definitely gone into a good home, seeing those parts cut with such elegance and such precision reminds me why I love badass machines! It's pretty cool to know that there's a real art to machining parts for manufacture and it's not just upload a file and press go. Awesome series!
Best shop tool I ever saw was a set of sockets welded to a triple wing propeller shape thing.
Was awesome sine you got a lot of leverage and you got the three most used sockets within arms reach, without having to change sockets and keeping track of them.
Gotta love G-code programming. So elegant !

Does Hass have canned cycles for roughing/finishing in circular interpolation? Or do you have to do it long hand?

I like how he goes at the end, all i got to do was drill some holes?
But accually getting to see the program was pretty sweet, and have it explained.

@djrock9000 yeah, this is part of the reason why my laptop is pink... no one else will lay claim to it :p
The other reason is that stuff coloured bright pink is a lot harder to misplace... kinda jumps out of a cluttered background.

@djrock9000 I got tired of "Where's the clamp I just had?" ""Where's the hammer?!" :)

Chris, you guys really need to get a coolant pump for the mill. It would probably help a lot.
I bet you could easily modify a squirt bottle to run off low pressure compressed air :)

I want to congratulate Chris, Paul, and everyone else that worked on Project Stomper. I can't wait to see the results from the new version of it.
